Dr. Wilmore is the dentist on call for multiple hotels in the area. She regularly sees emergency patients and will gladly accommodate you, the same day if possible. Dr. Wilmore can be reached after hours as well. Please call us if you experience a dental emergency. We are conveniently located in the 10-story Green Bank Building on the corner of San Felipe/ Voss.
Dr. Heather Wilmore earned her bachelor of arts degree in biology/premed from Baylor University in Waco. She went on to earn a bachelor degree of science in nursing from Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas. Her doctorate in dental science was issued by the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston.
As a full-service general and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Wilmore is trained and experienced in a variety of dental procedures. We promote regular preventive dentistry because a healthy foundation is the cornerstone to a strong smile. Current research indicates that oral health has a significant impact on overall health, as well.

Your new patient exam and consultation will take about an hour. After completing digital registration forms, you will undergo a safe and fast series of digital X-ray. In fact, you can watch the X-ray image on a screen right in front of you while we are taking the images. We may also capture intraoral images of your teeth and gums, as well as perform an oral cancer screening exam with ViziLite Plus.

I was greeted very warmly by the staff members that I saw, and the dentist was just as warm in her greeting. I was very comfortable because of the hospitality, and very impressed with how fast everything went. I was expecting to be there longer than I actually was! The atmosphere is professional and welcoming. On my first visit, I felt comfortable because I knew I was in "great hands." The hygienist, Shelita Ballentine, was very detailed in taking x-rays and answering my questions. She also did a great job cleaning and making my teeth look wonderful. I stumble upon the office through google as I was looking for a good dentist office in Houston. The reviews were impressive so I decided to make an appointment and had a great experience. Here are the details of my visit as I HIGHLY recommend them!
-I emailed them on the weekend to make an appointment and I was very surprised when they replied.

The provider's bedside manner was abysmal. I came for the dental portion of my Army physical. Fortunately, I've established a relationship with a local dentist who I trust with my care as I couldn't imagine actual receiving necessary treatment at Wilmore DDS. Further, if I'd had any apprehension related to dental care, this visit would have caused considerable lasting anxiety. She is very patience and very caring. I decided I wanted Invisalign, after I made an appointment, hurricane Harvey hit.
After a year and a couple of months. I decided I wanted to pursue it again. After my first opinion was a straight up disaster I decided to give Dr. wilmore a call again. I informed her that the first dentist informed me I need "Jaw surgery". . She was able to throughly research and work directly with Invisalign to ensure my treatment will not required surgery. We both agree my treatment will take longer than six month, so I was thrilled

6 month teeth cleaning. I've never been one to enjoy my visits to the dentist (if you are...weird) but everything about my visit was pleasant. My cleaning was super thorough. The hygienist was polite...but not trying to make my talk while I have all of her trade tools hanging out of my mouth which I appreciate. I've had this sensitivity in one of my teeth that I've kind of been freaking out was a big old cavity. Turns out it wasn't and they knew exactly what it was (apparently I grind mh teeth and wear down enamel...but you probably don't want to read my whole medical history

This has to be one of the best dental practice's I've been to in a long time. Not only was the staff super friendly and helpful but the doctor made me feel at ease with her kindness and genuine concern for my dental needs. She was extremely thorough with my examination and addressed all of my concerns and used explicit care while treating me. With over 9 years in the dental industry and 17 in the medical field it was apparent in her treatment with me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for a caring, professional person that is willing to go the extra mile.

I have been coming to Dr Wilmore for over 8 years and have never been disappointed. I always go right into a room, I often have to bring my two small children with me and the team there have been nothing but helpful. Ariana especially has always taken time to talk to my kids while I'm getting work done. Dr. Wilmore has always been gentle and quick. She gives me options and explains the pros and cons to the different treatment plans. I have been going to Dr. Wilmore for the past 3 years, and she and her office staff have exceeded my expectations upon every visit. I particularly enjoy the fact that I am seen exactly at my appointment time, the comfort of the office environment and exam rooms, and the thoroughness of my treatment. Can I give them 0 star? I've had enough with that condescending front desk receptionist. I asked for a bottle water while I was waiting on my dentist, she then closed her eyes, as if "meditating" for 3 seconds, rolled her eyes, and rudely slammed a bottle water on the desk in front of me.

I wish I would've seen the other reviews before. The WORST dental experience I have ever had. Starting with the poor customer service, to say the least. There is no customer service at all.
The doctor interacted with me twice in my whole treatment (over a year). I saw her every time talking to other members of the her staff, laughing and gossiping though. I just wanted it to be over, so I did not see them again.

I regret getting my treatment here. After pretty much a year of treatment my teeth were NOT fixed as promised. This doctor is taking on more cases than she can handle and that should not be legal. It's like an Invisalign factory in here. All she cares about is getting your money and once she has that she will not care the least bit about you. Don't be fooled by the low prices either, as this does not included the final required retainer which is about $700 and all other Invisalign providers DO include this, that's why her prices might seem better, but they're really not. Highly advise to seek another dentist! Worst Invisalign treatment and staff engagement, sadly with no exaggeration. Paid full payment for my treatment, my initial appointment I'd have to say wasn't all that bad although afterwards I hardly saw the dentist only her assistant which provided poor attention and most importantly neither were capable of facilitating a successful treatment! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

The staff was professional and personable. They were very helpful with directions and accommodating in squeezing in last a minute appointment. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, but the doctor and dental hygienist were able to put me at ease. They explained clearly what procedures were being done and performed them with minimal discomfort. I would recommend them to anyone.

It started off great. Nice place, friendly staff, TVs at every station and above your head while you get work done and Invisalign at a crazy affordable price. So, I had a really bad experience because I got burned with the glue that was used to place the "buttons"/ brackets on for the Invisalign. The assistant was busy watching the tv screen and made a huge mistake in burning me. When she noticed, she wiped it off with her gloved hand and told me to put vitamin E on it. She said it happens. From the beginning, Dr Wilmore gave me an assesment on my teeth, provided expectations and a video of the outcome, discussed exact payment amount, very professional & even gave me a complete run down on what to do & not do with Invisalign. I came & got my moldings, rec'd the trays within 2-3 weeks...a week early than anticipated. ive never had any issues, the staff is super friendly. Went in today for my appointment and I couldn't be happier. The hygienist I saw was Stacy and she did such a great job with my teeth cleaning and she was super nice. I was in and out of the office in 1.5hrs which I was impressed with since it was my first visit. Dr. Wilmore came in after my cleaning was done, she too was pretty nice and laid back, I didn't get the feeling that she was rushing through my appointment either.

Update: After having been back to see them a couple more times, I am happy again. It seems that some of my frustrations have been taken care of and I am more comfortable in the office again.

Omg where do I begin. The staff here was amazing for my first time visit Liz and Ariana made me feel right at home and then to top it off Dr. Wilmore did too. Dr. Wilmore was very thorough of what all was going to happen with the Invisalign process. If you want professional, upfront, good customer service staff don't pass the chance of getting with Dr. Wilmore. Plus the office is superb! Oh and they offer water if wanted. It is very nice. It's got built in TVs so you can watch movies or whatever while they work on you. the decor is all fancy. I went because I had a local deal or whatever and am new to the area. So if I can get cheap services and discover a potential new dentist that would be great. They seem accommodating but only to a certain point - I had an appointment and work kept me over seas for an extra few weeks. I called in to reschedule and the receptionist Nancy was a bit short with me. which is strange - she was very polite in person.
