We dropped our car off last minute to Jim for a bulb replacement and new brake pads and rotors all around before a day trip out of state. I also asked him to give an estimate on a small area of damage from someone's door. Here's our timeline:
-10:30am drop off- Jim could not give estimate
-3:30 call to Jim to follow up- parts had just arrived, no work started, still no estimate
-4:50 call from Jim to ask if I needed car back same day- only did front pads & rotors because another car came in & he was done for the day, no estimate again when asked
-1:30ish next day call from Jim to say car is
