Services
Ki'netik Fitness is a community of experienced trainers and hard working people from all fitness levels. Your fitness level is not a qualification here. What we look for in a member is a willingness to work hard, accept help from you coaches and fellow members, and one day pay it forward to someone new needing the encouragement you may have once needed.
Roberta (or as we call her, Berta) brings tremendous knowledge and 11 years of direct personal training experience to \ki'netik\FITNESS. She moved back into the State College area after spending a year in Colorado running her own in-home personal training business. Berta is a certified personal trainer with NASM and is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist.
The class that started it all. Our fitness coaches take you through a whole-body, fast-paced mix of cardio and weight training for the ultimate body-shaping and fat-burning workout. These workouts include weight lifting and cardio combos that are designed specifically to torch fat, build strength and get you in great shape.

I was actually to the point where I thought I was "ok" with my weight. But I was never truly happy, I was just giving up - Until I found Ki'netik.

I've been working out at Ki'netik for over 10 years, but it was not until I was injured over the past year that I realized just how great they are. I was suffering from SI Joint dysfunction, a herniated disc, and a bulging disc; I had horrible sciatica all the way to my foot, as well as a lot of hip pain. I went to doctors, chiropractors, physical therapy, and was referred to Pain Management, where I was scheduled to receive a spinal injection... Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Thorough, effective workouts. I started my membership after a free week, and I look forward to my 5:30am class each day. I’ve been a member just over a month and can see the results outwardly, but also in my stamina to get through each day. I can easily see why they have so many members that have been there since opening!

I have achieved more progression in my mountain biking in the past several months than I have in the past several years cycling alone. It has been a strenuous but enjoyable process. I enjoy the variability of the workout options offered. I have learned a lot of useful information. I have been a member of Ki'netik fitness since 2010 and the workouts keep me coming back! The instructors are awesome and new owners have been there since I began. Friendly, never pressure but push you to do your best. I love this gym as there is never the same workout! K will always be my go to gym!!

I have been a member of Ki'netik for 3 years! I highly recommend this gym. The workouts are always different, so you never get bored. The trainers are amazing! They are constantly checking your form to help you get your best results and to prevent injury. Finally, the members at this gym are just really nice, approachable, down to earth people. It's a very warm place, where all are welcome. If you want to get a good all around workout in a really friendly environment, this is definitely the gym to go to in town!

I cannot say more great things about this group. Now 4 months into the outdoor boot camp, I truly feel as if my body has transformed methodically. I am stronger, leaner, happier, and more confident in my overall presentation. Although I regularly exercised prior to starting with the boot camp, it always seemed as if something was missing...primarily my motivation. Ki'netik Fitness is hands down the best fitness experience I have ever had! I have been a member of and worked at a number of gyms, and fitness has always been a priority of mine. I feel that the dynamic and exciting workouts provided by the energetic and knowledgeable staff have allowed me to reach new levels of personal fitness. In addition, the supportive community of members is a great network to keep you motivated and on track with your goals as well as creating new and challenging goals. I know first hand that taking that first step to exercise can be quite challenging. The way I thought about exercise quickly changed when I started training with Scott Ludwig. I can't say enough good things about Scott. My husband and I used to train with him before we moved out to California. Scott was so dedicated to helping us reach our goals.
