Bruce Lombard is a Professional MMA & Muay Thai Coach. Coach Lombard has been training in numerous martial arts systems since the 1980's, he has been coaching and teaching MMA and Muay Thai for two decades.

The most successful submission grapplers have a full body attack approach. The ability to have awareness and skill to attack an opponents neck, arm, and leg provides best results for a grappler. When a submission grappling athlete has to defend the three main attack areas on their body as opposed to just one or two areas, their defense becomes more complicated.
The goals of this program are to provide participants the capability to learn kickboxing and self-defense techniques, increase cardiovascular endurance, increase muscular endurance, increase core strength, and enhance mental confidence. LombardMMA-FIT also includes four levels of abdominal routines to complete after your workout!
One can consider feeding their body five to six times a day. Eating every few hours supports your metabolism and provides necessary energy to get through your workouts. Try to consider eating at least 1,200 calories a day. Any intake under this can limit your necessary energy levels to get the most out of your workouts.

Great people, great vibes, great training. Awesome environment to have fun and learn at the same time. I had a blast right from my first class - and I started from total zero, no martial arts background. It's such a welcoming, encouraging environment that I jumped right in with boxing, muay thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and kickboxing. I'm getting better, and best of all, I'm loving every minute.

I signed up for my first women’s kickboxing classes at LombardMMA in 2011 when I was looking for a fun way to get in shape and got hooked on the sport! I took some time off after moving and trained at another facility for a while, but I’m happy to back!
I was dealing with some lingering injuries when I came back but everyone I worked with was really patient and willing to make adjustments so I could continue to learn and train in a safe environment. The team was friendly and treated me like part of the group from day 1. Classes are big enough to have ample training partners but not so big

Bruce found me when I had no skill, no real game plan and no structure. Coming from some of the other MMA gyms in town I never thought I'd find a gym that mixed physicality with education so well. My teammates helped a great deal as well without them I'd be nothing. Everyone is willing to learn and help just as much so, I can truly say it's a family type of gym where everyone is willing to work.

Amazing just amazing, I took the kickboxing classes and it’s great for all levels. I gained so much confidence and had fun while learning all these new skills. The instructors are highly qualified and keep you on your toes. Not one class is the same in a good way. The owner, Bruce, makes sure to get to know each and everyone one of his members. His attentiveness, skills, techniques, workouts and personality is what makes you want to come back for more. Highly recommend!!!
