From the start, we employed people who cared about each other and our children. This core group set the course for VCS, by defining our mission, vision, and values. Today, we reap the rewards of their choices. VCS owns over 26 acres, enrolls approximately 800 students, and maintains a nine million dollar budget.

I have had 2 children attend this school over the last 13 years. I cannot truly recommend VCS as a Christian school anymore. Although the teachers are wonderful and the academics are top notch because of those teachers, the administration has started making a string of very poor decisions, are in the process of dismantling the Radio Conservatory which is the only Internationally known program of its type in the world, seemingly out of spite for the Conservatory Director and are showing that they have no Christian compassion when dealing with any of the staff.

This is the best private school. I will say, no school is perfect, but I am pleased with our experience at this school. My daughter has been going here for the last 6 years. It is truly a community and family. The greatest aspects of this school are the teachers care and love, small class size, accelerated academics, and extra curricular programs. Another significant aspect of the this school is relevant assignments and appropriate homework assignments. The most recent impressive thing, was the ability of this school, to set up and execute and distance learning program within one week, in

VCS is a wonderful school to learn and grow. The staff are hands on and care about the well being of the students, they offer great support to help them succeed. My kids feel safe and adapted well with all staff and students. They offer great electives and sports team. Family oriented activities and fundraiser and fairs. Love this place, worth the money.

We were looking into this school for both our kids, due to some family deaths we haven't rescheduled our meetings with them as we've been busy dealing with all of that. Plus our kids aren't dealing well with losing grandparents. However it was our full intent to enroll both of our children here until I received an email from them moments ago.
Now I have no experience with the schooling and all that as we were only in the enrollment process, which before our current situation was seamless and enjoyable so by no means are they "bad." I just don't agree with asking for

My son is in the Kindergarten Readiness Summer Program, and it is great. They offer extended AM and PM hours, making my flexible job requirements convenient. Great teachers, awesome, shady playground and I love the hot lunch program that saves me when mornings are running tight. Can't wait for kindergarten next year!

Our second year at the school and love it! We came from a highly academic program in San Francisco and knew hands down it would be the best fit for our family. My 3rd grader has 14 kids in her classroom which is so wonderful considering all her friends in public have around 30 kids with 1 teacher. My youngest was taught to read last year in TK and absolutely loves reading every night. Everyone will always have something to complain about because it's a private school which means it comes at a cost. At the end of the day giving our kids the best foundation for a strong academic life for our

I have a daughter in the 4th grade elementary school at VCS. Mrs. Lynch is a wonderful principal. She always has a open door to hear and resolve concerns. The teachers go above and beyond the regular needs of the children. My daughters 3rd grade teacher, on her own time, shopped for outfits to match by daughter so they could do twin day, since my daughter did not have a twin and was upset about it. My daughter had an audition for a commercial but needed to know how to play basketball. The middle school P.E. teacher, took time out of their busy schedule, impromptu and helped my daughter.

My son has been at the school for 12 years. He has had a great experience, he is safe, he is a fully rounded individual. He is a smart and caring Christian, fully supported. When I read some other reviews, I find them completely misleading, my son is NOT a "copy" whatever that means, but he does know how to follow rules and he understands consequences to his actions- exactly what he needs moving forward. But he gets much love and guidance in the process. Yes, you do need 20 hours of volunteering, and yes field trips DO count. I work full time and I understood this going in. The school gets no public

Not only is this flat out extortion it seems as they've taken just about everything that makes my son an individual. He gets in trouble constantly for expressing any opinion other than that of the school. If you just want a copy then this is definitely the place to send your kid. If you want an actual person with their own ideas and ideas and styles you'll want to keep looking.

My son started at VCS HS last year partway into the fall semester. He had asked to change schools due to difficulties going on in the football program and his declining grades.
He has done fabulouse. VCS is concerned withthe whole student, grades, education, mind, soul, heart, family, and relationship with God. Students have a real relationship with their teachers and the teachers care more than you could ever imagine. The ratio of college admissions and more importantly, the ratio of colloege scholarships, dollar for dollar, are off the charts compared to any other public school in the area

Amazing school. We've had our kids there since preschool and now are in 1st and 3rd grade. The price is a bit high but after seeing the results in our kids, it's totally worth the investment! They are both reading two grade levels above their own grade, excellent math skills, have compassion for others and well mannered, God loving children. The average class size is 20 kids with a teacher and teacher's aid, so there is a lot of individual attention. VCS has music programs and enrichment activities after school like fun science, taekwondo, and other arts/activities. They also have
