My child goes to see Dr. Maydell for his follow up appointments. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Maydell! He listens to your concerns, is very kind, and explains things very thoroughly. The office staff is very friendly and has always helped me. The nurses have always been nice and been on top of things. I’ve dealt with both nurses, but I’ve interacted more with Dr. Maydell’s, Ishmael. He has always always been helpful with my child’s medication. He is very sweet, kind, and has always answered my questions. The previous office I used took days to get a prior authorization done

Comically brutal lack of attention to detail that should come with any business. You are better off stepping behind the front desk to schedule your own appointment and counseling yourself.

So I will say that the front desk staff have always been nice and polite - so giving an extra star for that. However the providers I have seen have never been very helpful and always seem in a hurry. But I am now completely done with this place. I have called multiple times in the last two weeks trying to get a refill called in on my medication. The medication nurse never answered the phone no matter what time of day I was calling - frustrating, but fine, they are busy, I get that. But I never once got a call back, and the pharmacy never got my refill. Finally a couple days ago I managed to get

This is the second time it has taken them weeks to refil a prescription. Not to mention it’s a strong dose I cannot just stop without having serious effects on my body. Every time I call they rarely answers. The medication nurse never answers or returns calls. Lazy!

It really says alot about this practice, when it's taken almost 3 weeks to complete a "prior authorization". Not to mention the pharmacy still hasn't received it. I've spoke with the front office as well as the nurse, whom never answers the phone less long return a call..SMH!!! With that said it's most definitely time to explore other options.
