We brought our big Irish wolfhound after he had a fall. Although it didn't work out as we hoped the doctors, nurses and other staff were fantastic. They took great care of Owen and us too. I would definitely take our other dog here knowing they would give him the best care possible

I just got a new puppy from a shelter and she "Sammy" was due for shots . Malta Veterinary Hospital was highly recommended ! They were very nice and friendly on the phone when I called to set up an appointment . When I took her they were just as nice as on the phone ! Dr. Augustine is a great guy and thoroughly checked her out and she got all the shots that were needed . She also had an issue with her ears . They cleaned them up and gave me some medicine to apply for two weeks .
The bottom line is that they are very thorough , very kind and very reasonable ! They definitely will be taking care

Ever since the new veterinarian took ownership the staff and quality of care has gone down hill. All dogs and cats are muzzled regardless of history. They put them on before they will bring the dogs or cats inside. I was told that our dog had a torn mcl and would need surgery but they never ran any X-rays. I traveled over an hour to the nearest animal hospital that performs surgeries and they took one look at her and said she had nothing wrong with mcl. They ran X-rays and found she had arthritis. We have taken her in for other things and the vet has only spent a couple of minutes and does not

This was my first time being inside the clinic sense the pandemic hit. Receptionist was kind and friendly. The vet and the vet tech were kind and helpful with information. My Ivy girl always seems happy with her visits so no complaints here ☺

Good small town veterinarian friendly staff really cares about your pets.

My dog ended up needed emergency staples one morning and Malta was able to take her in right away. The staff here are so friendly and professional and I really felt at ease there (even though I was freaking out!). So grateful that we wound up here. And also appreciate how fast each appointment was.

Dr. Paul Augustine is far and away the best vet around. He has put up with me and my family, all crazy dog people, for many, many years. He has treated our dogs like the family members they are, and has always given us care and compassion as well. Most recently he spent a considerable amount of time helping us realize that to continue to treat our dog would not be in the dog's best interest. He knew we loved that dog, and probably would have gone to great lengths and expense to help him, and he was honest and open regarding the dog's prognosis but never told us what to do, just carefully explained

Love Malta vet. They've always been very helpful and explain everything when it comes to all of my pets we've been going here for years.

This is the place to take your pets if you want people who truly care. They are so good with our little fur babies. I highly recommend!
