Couldn't get an electrical panel open and proceeded to damage the panel.
Did not recognize electrical items that were switched off and then claimed they were broken.
Left a trail of inspected items that were not put back together.
Left a panel off of the water heater.
Removed the water softener drain and did not replace.
Good at finding issues but bad at understanding what was the cause.
In a nutshell very thorough but not smart and not respectful of the home.

I'd have to echo the other reviewers. Troy was excellent. Very thorough and really knows what he's doing. He takes the time to explain things as well.
The cost of our inspection was about 400.00, and I feel it was well worth it.
We will be using his services again (hopefully soon) as we passed on the first house and are still looking.

We DID use Troy's services again, and again he was excellent! This time we bought the house, and are very happy with it. I think he stayed for 2 extra hours, answering all of our questions, and giving us very useful information.
The cost of our inspection was about 400.00, and I feel it was well worth it.
We will be using his services again (hopefully soon) as we passed on the first house and are still looking.

Troy creates problems where there are none; he scares his customers out of good homes. In regards to his professionalism, he wrote his opinion of what the cost of the repairs would be. $1500 to replace a basement utility tub? Demand a drain tile inspection (cutting open the concrete floor in multiple locations 7’x1’, tapping into the drain tile and filling with a hose) on a dry, carpeted basement with no evidence of water intrusion? If you’re interested in getting a good scare, and you want to kill your deal, call Troy.

Troy was incredible and worth every penny. I am a first time home buyer and he took the time to walk me through each issue he uncovered. He taught me about each appliance and it’s maintenance as well as estimated repair costs on the spot. He is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable about city codes, repairs, and the issues that come with many older… homes. Thanks to his expertise, I was able to avoid buying a house that required many more structural (i.e. expensive) repairs than I was prepared for. He taught me about the things to watch for in older homes and I am much more prepared
