My name is George Hunter. I am the owner of Hunters Antiques, a small local family business. I started buying & selling in the early 80's. I owned an antique shop in Seattle on 1st Ave & Denny Way from 1986 - 2014. Over the years the store front shifted to strictly online sales but I am still well known in the antique community.
I've been actively selling on Ebay since 1999. I have 1,000's of items currently listed on my Ebay store: Huntersantiquesinseattle Check it out! If you find an item on my Ebay store that you're interested in you can contact me directly.

Sorry to hear you have gone to ecommerce only.
I dont do ecommerce.
I never know what I want until I see it and I need to see it in person, not on my tiny phone screen.
Plus, I don't like paying for way too expensive shipping.
Hope one day you will become a "real" store again.
Best of luck in the future.

Recently I purchased two Bunnykin Figurines through EBAY through Hunter’s Antiques. I received my parcel in a box plastered with EBAY tape to hold it together. The label clearly stated only one item was in the box. The tape also damaged the label. I kept the label the best I could as there was no copy of an invoice in the box. The box was filled with Styrofoam chips. Inside I found wrapped in a bit of bubble wrap the Fireman figurine I was expecting. What was missing was the Policeman figurine. I have a receipt from PayPal stating I paid for both. Trying to get them to admit the mistake is theirs

This shop is not a physical store. When I called and asked whether they were open, the employee who answered had to ask the owner. When I spoke with the owner, he kept asking what I was looking for, and I responded that I was simply interested in browsing. I was really confused, as search results seem to indicate that this place is a physical store, but I think they only sell online. Pretty disappointing, but not the fault of the store or its owners.

My biase against EBAY is founded and it transferred to one of the Sellers, Hunter Antiques. Trying to come to a resolution through EBAY is impossible. Their resolution Centre is staffed by polite pleasant people but their hands are tied. Their system only allows for correspondence one way through their internal system. They could not find any records. They said they did not have an email account so I could send them my proof of purchase. I only heard from them about what they could not do. When I was finally able to speak to Mr. Hunter he offered to help, saying he would check again for the missing
