Derived from Morvarid, the Farsi word for "pearl", Pearly Smiles became a natural name for a practice built on nurturing healthy teeth and gums from day. After completing her undergraduate degree in nutrition, Dr. Mori earned a Dental Degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC and trained in hospital dentistry at UCLA.
The Pearly Smiles Pediatric Dentistry team takes an honest, compassionate and joyful approach to treating our patients. Since dental decay progresses much faster in baby teeth than in adult teeth, we encourage regular visits to the dentist starting at age one. I struggled finding a pediatric dentist that my son liked and at the same time didn’t overcharge on everything!!! So happy I chose to try Pearly smiles out because my son loves it there. Very clean environment and the staff are all really nice and great with kids. Love that there is always plenty of parking and really never anyone else there when we go. They space their appointments out nicely. He gets seen right away and the visits are always quick. 2 thumbs up from us!

The office is so beautiful & clean. The staff has been very attentive and friendly. My children loved the experience and felt very comfortable. Dr. Mori is very professional and sweet. She said explained everything that was going on and what she was going to do. She made me feel very involved. Highly recommend this place!!! ❤️

Going to the dentist can be a little nerve racking, especially when it is your first time. My husband and I contacted quite a few local pediatric dentists but then through word of mouth and rave reviews found Pearly Smiles Pediatric Dentistry for my 16 month old daughters first visit to the dentist. The online booking was simple and Erika at the front desk was so kind and helpful with getting all the insurance info squared away. My 3 yo asked to go back!
I was nervous to being my rambunctious 3 year old for his FIRST dentist appointment ever, but this was a great experience. The office was clean, cheerful and brand new. The staff friendly and helpful. And Dr Mori so sweet, informative and gentle. I initially chose Pearly Smiles because Dr Mori has some impressive credentials, and the website is clear and very informative. (e.g. You can fill out all the medical forms before you go and there is guidance on how to mentally prepare your toddler— which I think really helped a lot.) My energetic boy NEVER sits still— yet

My son is 2 yrs old and hates brushing his teeth, though he didn’t want to let me go, it was amazing to see that his behavior did phase the staff. They tried multiple ideas to get his attention to make him more comfortable. Even though this time (our first time to a dentist) wasn’t the easiest I’m not worried about taking him back, they not only tried to make him more comfortable but made sure I was comfortable with the whole experience as well. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming and gave great advice on books and different ways we have yet to try to make brushing his teeth easier
