I have been visiting Dr. Omid and Dr. Nejad now for several years and am so grateful for the consistency and quality of care that I receive. Whether receiving routine cleanings or experiencing dental issues like cavities, I have been treated with care, understanding and ease, and can say that I no longer dread visiting the dentist.

I recently had to choose a new dentist due to new insurance. I was looking for the most modern technology as well as someone who has been in practice for a while. After pouring through a many-page document and looking up all the dentists in Yelp, I chose Shawna Omid's practice based on reviews and the information on her website. I've had 2 appointments with a third coming up (I'd lost a crown) and have received highly professional and gracious treatment from both herself, her daughter who works in the practice and all of the staff.

I have been getting my regular dental check-ups, my dental implants and cleaning done here. Dr. Omid and team are very caring and wonderful. They will take very good care during and after surgeries. This is a long story but hopefully it will give you an insight as to what kind of doctor Shawna Omid is. I see her come in and argue underneath these reviews sometimes so I want to provide as much detail as possible I am sure she has her own side to this as well. I have nothing bad to say about the actual procedures she performs it's her approach that I find dishonest and predatory.

This doctor has no empathy for her older patients. She charged my mom full price for a set of ill fitting dentures. She had to go to another doctor who could not believe a new denture would be so unpolished, sharp and on top of that not fitting properly. I have no respect for people who don't do their job properly.

Highly unrecommended. I'd give 0 stars but yelp requires me to give at least one. I have been going to Dr. Omid for 6 years and my mom has been going for 14 years. Regular 6 month check ups and all. I am only 19 years old yet just experienced a root canal because Dr. Omid let one of my teeth ROT in my mouth for a while. My new dentist asked very warily when was the last time I had seen a dentist because where the root canal was needed was damaged so bad. I have been going to Dr. Omid's office for a few months and have been pleased with everything. The whole team is knowledgeable and they do their best to make you feel comfortable. The payments not covered (and what is covered) by insurance is laid out so simply and honest. I need a few more things done, but I do not feel pressured into it nor will the doctor do any procedure unless I am comfortable with it. Thankful for the honesty and good service.

Dr. Omid and her team are my dentist of choice. It's so sad to see the negative reviews because I've had the best experience while in their care. It is true that they sometimes recommend procedures that aren't covered by insurance but that's super typical in any field of medicine. Insurance doesn't always cover the newest and best procedure. I'm happy Dr. Omid gives patients options and allows us to choose the best option for ourselves.

This office is unprofessional and fails to treat patients with dignity. I have had multiple calls that were not returned, and Dr. Omid is dishonest about price and cost. I started an implant procedure with one quote, after completing the abutment and implant she postponed the crown for four months but billed my insurance for everything. Then a few weeks later that price was changed to $1500 more than I was originally promised. I am deeply disappointed. I will escalate this further.

Dr. Omid and her wonderful staff have been taking care of my dental needs for almost 10 years now. Saw the great reviews from others, so I decided to give her a chance. Overall, I give it 2 stars because of the service and overall cost. Service: the hygienist spent about 15 minutes cleaning and telling me how much my gums were bleeding. Followed by another 5 minutes of up sale while I laid flats on my back. Also did not receive a warm welcome and had several moments of awkwardness during my visit.
Overall cost: I was told by many that my insurance is very good, but very single additional service is either not covered or partial covered for this office. Example my insurance covers 135 for cleaning

On the first day, I filled out the necessary forms and it was asked about my spouse's employer. I thought to myself, why do they need to know that, but I answered it. When I first met Dr. Omid, she tells me that she noticed where my husband worked, states that they have great insurance and that I should change my insurance to his. I had a pleasant experience for all my visits. All the staff members are kind, helpful, and professional. The facility is kept clean and very well maintained. I really like that before my treatments, I got the breakdown of all the different operations and the cost. I had a choice to decline certain treatments, even though it was recommended.
