Dr. Moutaz Abdeen graduated with a BS in Biology in 1996 from Virginia Commonwealth University. He then went on to earn a DDS Doctoral in Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia - Class of 2000.

I highly recommend Dr. Abdeen. He is a very knowledgable dentist and I can’t be any happier. I recently had some root canals done and fillings and my experience was excellent. His staff are all friendly, caring and welcoming. They listen and take your needs into consideration. In fact I have already recommended him to my friends and family.

Moving into the area recently and needed to find the perfect Dentist and office- I found it!! I think what I truly appreciated the most, which has never been done before is, The Dentist knew I needed a lot of work done which will be expensive and proceeded with asking me if I wanted to be proactive or conservative with some of the issues. Based on my response sectioned what was most important. The staff was amazing as well from listening to my concerns and making me feel comfortable.

My husband and I have been coming here for our routine cleanings and any other additional work. Dr. Abdeen and his entire staff are incredibly welcoming/nice, knowledgeable, and gentle with all the work they do. The customer service is A1! We drive 30 minutes from DC to come here and we will continue to do so. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend this place!

This is a great dentist. I highly recommend this office. They took great care of my mom, who needed a crown and dentures. The dentist is top notch and made sure the dentures were very comfortable. The staff is extremely attentive and calls when they say they will call. These dentists will be my go-to!

I would highly recommend the Alexandria Smiles Dentistry. Dr. Abdeen is very professional and everyone in the office is very nice and caring. They always make sure that you feel comfortable and calm.
