Food Passion Catering

This is a cute little Jewish deli on the Upper East Side that just feels so cozy as soon as you walk in.

We have had the ham/ Swiss sandwiches as well as their egg salad ones. Everything is so fresh and the staff is welcoming as soon as you open their door.

We try to stop by here at least once a week to pickup a sandwich on the go for lunch or some black/white cookies.

Definitely a must try if you're in the upper east side and want to pickup a quick bite to eat.

My go-to spot on the UES. Quick to pick up hot and cold prepared foods, but they also have free delivery. Broad selection so there's something for everyone, from soups and sandwiches to lasagna, seafood and crispy glazed duck (so good, highly recommend). Everything is top quality. They also have fresh juice, awesome pasteries, and even caviar, pate and fancy cheeses.

Forget fresh and co type places, keep NYC real and support local! You'll get a better meal here anyway.

Food here is great. There is literally something for everyone to enjoy. Fried chicken, lasagna, orange duck, sandwiches, pastries, gourmet cheeses. Order lunch at work, dinner for your family, or cater an entire event. The food is fresh and never disappoints. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have been eating here for a long time and highly highly recommend this place!

Food Passion is a great little mom and pop shop that makes delicious and fresh gourmet food. They have a massive array of prepared foods and they also cater. I love so many of their dishes ranging from their lasagna bolanaise to their creamed spinach, not to mention their amazing vichyssoise soup! But my favorite thing there is actually quite simple, they make a stellar sandwich! Have you ever had pepporcini mayo? If you like a bit of spice try it in your sandwich, it's house made and it doesn't disappoint! Also, their Passover menu is fantastic. Best potato kugle I've ever had!

When I go out for my lunch break, I normally know where I am going to get food. This time, though, I decided to take a stroll down Lex to try and find a new place for a new experience. This is where I stumbled onto Food Passion! The outside of this place looked absolutely adorable to start. Very festive with Easter coming up! So cute, and they also have a couple benches outside, which I knew I would be able to enjoy my lunch on. When I went inside, it was even more adorable. Wouldn't do another holiday without Food Passion's creativity and flair. They don't don't get any nicer or more delicious than Jamie's food and planning. Never had a bad experience and I always go back...year after year.

We had the salmon salad, tarragon chicken salad, quinoa salad,
green salad and fruit salad.

I've been coming here for years since I work on the same block! Their food is superior!! But I had to put in a bad review bc their customer service in the morning hours has gone downhill when a new woman began late last year. She talks on her phone (Apple headphones) while she takes your order and I had to ask her, "are you talking to me or the person on the phone!?" She mumbled and didn't even acknowledge I said anything, so I continued to tell her it was rude to be on the phone while you were supposed to be helping the customer. This person needs a reality check and needs

Order large catering services here for doctors offices almost weekly. Staff is never late on deliveries and the food is second to none. Jamie has always taken care of me as I host lunches weekly in my job. Anything from the salmon dishes to the Greek salad are my favorites but with different items on the menu often, it's hands down my favorite food in the city.

Thank you so much for taking my catering order last minute. Second time one my offices requested the American Breakfast so I'm really glad you came through for me. : )

Not only do they have a B rating, but staff is rude as Hell. I was standing there to be served for a good 5 minutes and I guess a couple of regulars or maybe just from this upscale neighborhood came in, and as if I was invisible they attended to them first.

Terrible service, unable to follow delivery instructions. When calling to follow up on order status the guy on the phone is extremely rude spoke to me like I was some kind of idiot who doesn't know how to place an order correctly. Completely unacceptable, never received my order. Haven't tried Food Passion before? Don't bother, they don't appreciate your business anyway, it's a hassle for them to have customers.

DILL CHICKEN SALAD.
After having it from here I cant eat chicken salad anywhere else. Its so good and fresh but its popular so it sells out quick. That and the staff are crazy friendly especially for a place with little foot traffic. They get most of their income from delivery and call in orders, so they looked surprised to see me, however I was greeted and instantly serviced. I watched Jose make my food and ring me up. Great ppl and amazing salads.

I love this place. Good quality food. Try the Hamantaschan! The best part is the service, José is a lovely person

Was so happy to find bialies, which are hard to find but which I love, here according to menu on delivery.com. Ordered one with low-fat cream cheese, and then 15 min later I got a call from the restaurant telling they don't have bialies and they don't have low fat cream cheese. When I asked why they were both on the menu, the guy blamed delivery.com, and he said "I'm on the phone with them now.' Unclear to me how he could be on the phone with delivery.com and me at the same time (this was not a conference call), but whatever. Canceled order. So much for passion.

Owner, or manger, was very nasty, when I wanted to know more! about his policy, On his staff, washing there hands .Before making food orders!! I was spoken too, In a nasty way and left. Jimmy

I love ordering from this restaurant! The cuisine is spectacular and they deliver free to my location (but they do charge if you live outside of a certain area). My guests always get impressed when I cater or evening with food from Food Passion! Must try!
