At Coulter Family Dentistry, we know how important the aesthetic of a smile can be. When you don't feel confident about the way that your smile looks, you will probably end up smiling less, and that's a real shame! Because we want you to keep smiling, we offer a variety of cosmetic dental options to help give you a smile that you can be proud of.
The procedure consists of us drilling into your tooth and removing all of the decay in the tooth as well as all of the pulp. Once we have removed the pulp of the tooth we fill in the cavity with an inert material call gutta-percha that helps the tooth to maintain its rigid structure. Once the gutta-percha has been placed within we fill in the access hole the same way we would a filling.
Images can be manipulated in several ways, including zooming in on suspect areas and enhancing for better quality. This allows us to see greater details. Your whole appointment is spent with you. We can go over the images, explain what we find, and thoroughly discuss your treatment options. You will have the time to ask any questions you have, which can help you to feel better prepared, and more confident, about getting treatment.
Whether a car accident or a fall in the home, facial trauma often results in damage to the teeth. Teeth may have cracks that run down the gum line, damage completely below the gums, or the teeth can split or shatter. Crowns cannot restore these teeth. When gum disease advances beyond the initial stages, irritated, swollen gums pull away from the teeth and create pockets.
Bitten lip, tongue or cheek. Biting your lip, tongue or cheek is a common dental injury. It can usually be managed by placing gauze over the injury and holding it in place with gentle pressure. In the event of pain and swelling, both over the counter pain relievers and ice packs can be used. These types of injuries usually heal on their own in just a matter of days.

Dr Coulter is AMAZING. I had an extreme dental phobia that was debilitating to the point I coudn't walk into an office without having a panic attack. After meeting and working with Dr Travis Coulter and his wonderful staff I actually look forward to my appointments. There are still some issues we have to work through but everyone there is so friendly, caring and empathic that I'm positive that they will be resolved when the time comes.
Dr Coulter explains every step and takes extreme care not to cause pain. I can praise him highly enough. They are a true blessing.

We loved Coulter Dentistry so much that we continued to return to them for two years after retiring to the west side of the state. We will truly miss them! Only dentist that I have experienced that can give you a numbing shot for a procedure AND it didn’t hurt! Very proactive preventive dentistry. Thanks for all your work over the years.

Dr. Coulter is an amazing dentist and his staff is knowledgeable and friendly. He made an unscheduled visit on a Saturday evening when one of our kids smacked their face on the edge of a bunk bed. That's just who he seems to be as a person and as a professional.
We moved from Spokane Valley two years ago to Atlanta and we have been through three dentists trying to find one that is even remotely as good as Dr. Coulter and his staff. Sadly, we haven't found one yet. Let us know when you move to the east coast Dr. Coulter!

My whole family is seen by the amazing team at Coulter Family Dentistry. They make it super convenient for our family to get our teeth cleaned/checked at the same time. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now! The staff and the atmosphere is outstanding. Happy and friendly. My routine care is thorough, quick and pleasant. When I wanted a little cosmetic chip fixed -(it was causing me to withhold my smile)-Dr. Coulter did a beautiful job- with a subtle inexpensive procedure. Really great experience!

Dr Coulter and staff are amazing, literally the best dental clinic I have been a part of! I have been going for years and not only do they treat me amazing, they remember who I am and are always so friendly and accommodating. I have been scared of the dentist (yes really) for years and for the first time ever... they didn’t have to sedate me to fill a cavity. That is huge.
