Craig is the best mechanic I have ever had for my Fiat Spider 2000. When he fixes things, they stay fixed and that's a rare thing with old sports cars. I do most of my own wrenching, so I know.

Have been going to Craig for centuries, mostly with imports (Honda, Datsun, Toyota, BMW). He does especially well with older models. He gives you what you need; nothing more, nothing less. As a Certified Tightwad, I love his approach.

Unfortunately, my experiences at this place have definitely taken a turn for the worse since my prior positive review. I brought the car in 4/28 for a power steering pump replacement at $200. After they replaced it, there was still lots of noise coming from it so I bring it back 2 days later. Turns out the replacement was defective so they replaced it again under warranty. I started having lots of creaking and clunking from the front of the car so bring it in for a diagnosis in early June. Craig (the owner) diagnosed it as worn cv joints and I have them replaced on 6/28 for $400. Noises are

I came here to have my tires replaced and oil changed. The customer service was rather unfriendly and the service was over priced. Although my receipt said that the fluids had been refilled, my car ran out of coolant about a month later. There was no leakage, so I can only assume they didn't bother to fill it up.
I'm new to owning a car, so I didn't find an issue with the pricing until I was told by other people that they pay much less on average than I did. The employee i talked with was abrupt and not very helpful when answering my questions.

After trying 2 other auto service places, I finally feel like I found the only honest service place. The guy at the desk just felt like a down to earth and straight forward. I didn't feel like it was going to be taken for a ride or ripped off. Also, he came recommended by locals. I will definitely be back.
