Our Mission At GMBJJ, we focus on traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi and No-Gi training for children, teenagers and adults. I've been going for 2 months or so.
Gustavo is such an intelligent and kind teacher.
I have no idea what I'm doing and he often breaks off and shows me proper technique, etc. Definitely a positive and fun environment, not to mention a great workout and self confidence booster. Men and women of all ages would have a great time here.

Brett at the front desk helped answer all of the questions that I had and his humor helped calm my nerves before heading in. I took my first class here yesterday with Professor Justin, this guy truly has a passion for teaching and went above and beyond to make sure I was understanding the techniques being taught. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up immediately and will be purchasing my Gi today. Firm Handshakes.

I’ve been training with Guga since ‘99 and have travelled the country extensively visiting other excellent academies. None are as good as his! He is a master instructor both in technique and his insane ability to break instruction down so anyone can get it. Friendly, honorable and exceptionally talented. Nobody that trains with him will ever say different. I am not exaggerating when I say that he changes lives.

I have trained both gi and nogi Jiujitsu for years and Gustavo's Jiujitsu knowledge is top notch. The instructors under him are a testimony to this and do a great job during class working on an individual basis to make adjustments necessary to bring your Jiujitsu game to the next level. Definitely a great place to learn, train, and compete.
