Dr. Frances Engler is a mercury-free, mercury-safe and minimal fluoride, family and cosmetic dentist. Our practice allows us the opportunity to serve others for the glory of God. She and her staff desire to share information about dental wellness with their patients so they may make educated decisions about their oral health.
The brand of the toothbrush is not as critical as the type of bristle and the size of the head. A soft toothbrush with a small head is recommended because medium and hard brushes tend to cause irritation and contribute to recession of the gums, and a small head allows you to get around each tooth more completely and is less likely to injure your gums.

Wonderful experience. Everyone that works there is top rate and very compassionate. We often are afraid and put off any dental work. Dr. Engler understands this and is very soft-spoken when recommending daily at home care. Child-friendly and safe environment. Dr. Engler is extensively educated in the homeopathic approach, and is well blended with modern and historical traditions of dentistry. Okay just to keep it real I KNOW that I am not the only person on Earth who has experienced tremendous anxiety about going to dentist and having work done. This anxiety actually prevented me from seeing a dentist for years!

I rarely write reviews but I find myself telling everyone about Dr. Engler. I make a lot of decisions based off of website reviews and so I hope this helps others find the perfect dentist. I love everything about Dr. Engler, her office, and staff. That's a rarity to say about a dentist's office! I hadn't been to a dentist in years and I knew I needed quite a bit of work. Dr. Engler made a list of what needed to get done first, worked with my insurance, and even had one of her staff members go through each thing I needed and how much would be required out of pocket that my insurance wouldn't cover

I'm so happy we found this dentist! She is very knowledgeable. My 6 year old daughter doesn't have great teeth, and Dr. Engler was helpful and encouraging. she gave helpful preventative advice (beyond keeping her teeth clean and avoiding sugar).
My kids love it here too. The entire staff is nice and friendly. Plus, they give the kids xylitol gum after appointments, and the toys they give after the appointments are really good.
They don't take dental insurance, but their prices are very low. With our dental insurance option, it's cheaper to just decline dental insurance

Dr. Francis Engler is amazing.
I have had terribly traumatic experiences since moving to Denver, CO with dental work. On the suggestion of my D.O., I made an appointment to visit Dr. Engler's office to have my mercury amalgam fillings replaced.
Her office practices environmental dentistry, one of the few in the area. Dr. Engler is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and does everything in her power to make her patients feel safe and comfortable.
She has explained all the steps to me in detail, and works at my pace, so I feel comfortable in everything that happens.

YAY for Dr. Engler! I went to the dentist today. I've always like the dentist. And today was no exception. I did my research for a holistic dentist in the area. And found one close by. For the first time, a western schooled doctor asked me about my diet and talked about nutrition and how that affects our mouth, our gum recession, our grinding of teeth, etc. She is all about no mercury and limited fluoride products. They even have gluten free paste! On top of it all, everyone in the office was super friendly. YAAAAAY!! I wanted to give a shout out to holistic dentist Dr. Francis Engler in Lakewood

Out of this world! Dr. Engler and everyone that works in the office is wonderful at their job! I highly recommend her and her office to everyone interested in a more "whole-person" and "whole-life" approach to dentistry. And the fact that everyone is so warm and kind makes it an even better place to visit :)

Dr Engler is the BEST dentist I have ever been to. Their crew is so nice, and always extremely gentle and professional. If I moved out of town I would fly back to Colorado just to come here for work. They have flexible plans and are always extremely accommodating. I can't say enough good things about these people.

So glad I found Dr. Engler's office! I met her at a homeschooling conference and she is amazing. I have fertility and endocrine issues, and I've learned it's important to avoid BPA, mercury and flouride. I was trying for over a year to find a holistic dentist who agrees that these substances are indeed harmful to one's health.
Not only was my exam thorough and painless, but she used several tools with new technology that identified my dental issues. They recommend using Xylitol to help keep the cavities away (I didn't know that.) Every dentist I've ever seen does

I had neglected my teeth for about 5 years. Having Chipped a piece in the back during flossing I went to Comfort Dental where they gave me two crowns on one side and wanted to proceed with two crowns on the other. I got the first two out of necessity, and could not remember a worse time at a doctor/dentist office. WHAT PAIN! I then turn to Dr. Engler for a second opinion. She fixed their poorly done job and corrected my bite. Then a quick simple painless filling and she saved me the money and pain of two more crowns. Small comfortable office with over the top service and cleanliness. High tech
