Services
Dr. Nancy Matthews is the creator and owner of A Cat's View Veterinary Hospital, established 2008. She is graduate of Michigan State University and has been a practicing veterinarian for 33 years. Her special interests within veterinary medicine include ultrasonography, nutrition, and ophthalmology and soft-tissue surgery.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your cat. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your cat, please call us or come in immediately.
Taking your cat to the vet doesn't have to be stressful! Our hospital is designed with your cat's comfort in mind to help them feel more at home. Some of the things you'll notice is the homey feel of our clinic, the lack of dog smells and sounds that can be stressful to your cat, the gentle and considerate handling of your cat during procedures, and the undivided attention you'll receive from one of our doctors.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
A Cat's View offers the highest quality of medicine with an emphasis on preventing problems before they arise! We focus our preventative care based on the specific life-stage of your feline. Each patient is assessed individually based on factors such as breed, age, and environmental challenges. The key to preventative medication the annual health examination.

What a wonderful cats-only vet!! I am so grateful to the staff of a Cat's View for helping my baby boy Doom. He ultimately needed to have part of his colon removed, and spent a lot of time hospitalized in their facility. He's home now and doing really well. Dr Matthews is wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Her staff were attentive and super sweet to me and my baby. Thank you Brooke, Mel, Christine, Heidi, Harmony, and everyone else for all your help and kindness.
My boys, Doom and Gloom, were so happy to see each other again after Doom's hospitalization. I'm so happy to have them back together

New to Cats view. Needed someone to care for my 14 yr old kitty who was very shy. Went out of town for almost a month and leaving Penelope for the first time. She instantly felt right at home and was cared for with lots of love. They kept me posted on how she was doing and wished I had found them sooner. Highly recommended.

I can't even begin to rate A Cats View unless I can recommend 10 out of 5 stars...they are miracle workers who diagnosed, treated and saved our baby's life efficiently and affordably while offering her the best of comforts. Here you can expect your feline to feel at home as opposed to being at the vet and know that they're receiving the best care… that veterinary medicine has to offer. Our little girl was quickly and accurately diagnosed with a serious and complex condition and thanks to A Cats View we're looking forward to a full recovery and many more years to spend with her!
