I trained at the Downeast School of Massage in midcoast Maine starting in 1998 while working full time for the Maine Department of Agriculture and the USDA. My now-grown sons were quite amused that their Dad had homework to do just like them. I left government service upon completing the training program and have been working as a therapist ever since.
Massage sessions are booked by time and location. Each session's framework and duration is agreed upon after an initial consultation and health history to establish a mutual understanding of your needs, expectations and concerns before any bodywork is started. Payment is due at time of service. For your convenience, I can accept most major credit/debit cards as well as Health Savings Account cards.

It is perhaps most needed and useful during the second and third trimesters, right up to and including active labor in many instances.
These can be convenient for clients, but since they involve a great deal of preparation and the transport of a portable office, there is a price differential. House calls are 20.00 dollars per session more than an office visit. Sessions are booked by mutual agreement, in advance, after a face-to-face meeting at either of my office locations.
As a stand alone service taping is priced as either at the 15 minute or 30 minute session rate depending on the complexity of the application. 30 minutes is 40.00 dollars and 15 minutes is 25.00 dollars. This is an important and effective tool in my reportoire to help clients address both acute and chronic pain patterns and muscle imbalances.
