Great platform to use for its services but do not expect to ever speak to someone other than the agents wanting to lease the property you’re interested in. Once your moved in, all correspondence remains digital and you’re on your own until you get a response. Maintenance is outsourced to another customer service agency. Would not recommend if you live in Washington, D.C.

I've been very pleased with Atlas Lane. I own a condo in DC and lived in it for many years. I had a long-time property management company, but when they were sold, their successor was bad. Then I used a different company that was downright terrible - see my review, they're now out of business! Atlas Lane fixed a long-standing leak in my bathroom that affected the tenants below and that no other company was able to resolve. They're so easy to work with that I don't have to think about them. They got me good tenants and rented at a higher level than I thought I could get. They

Tldr: Atlas Lane is definitely, without a doubt, one of the more professional and organised property management companies in Washington DC.
I've lived in DC for a while and have lived in different properties. And honestly there are so many god awful property management companies (*cough* Bungalow *cough*) that absolutely do not care about the property or you, the renter.
However, I can deff say Atlas Lane is one of the most professional property management companies in DC. Like we had a minor leak in the basement and they sent someone out within three hours.

On Friday August 13, 2021, Atlas Lane was notified that trash and trash cans were… blocking the main entrance into a property they manage. Atlas Lane still has not resolved the issue as of Monday August 16, 2021.
Atlas Lane has taken weeks to fix other issues in the unit. For example, the unit had issues with hot water twice. The unit went without hot water for several days the first time. The second time, the unit went 9 days without hot water.

My landlord switched to Atlas Lane midway through our lease. Since then, it has been a horrible experience. The communication is extremely impersonal and there were many random walk throughout which is concerning during COVID. My apartment had a emergency maintenance situation (flooding from drain) and atlas lane took extremely long to get back to me and we are still waiting for a plumber to come. They don't seem genuinely concerned about the well being of their tenants.

We've had a fantastic experience working with Atlas Lane. In particular, our property manager Kelly has been extremely responsive and helpful in navigating particularly tough situations with tenants. As property owners, we outlined our objectives and priorities to Kelly, who very clearly communicated them to the tenants and managed to negotiate the best possible resolution given a complicated dynamic. She is the consummate professional and we would recommend working with Kelly and Atlas Lane writ large to anyone looking for an excellent property manager.

I've been working with Atlas Lane as a property owner for the past 2-3 years now. They are incredibly responsive and have given me an invaluable peace of mind that my tenant and property will be well looked after. When there are repair requests, they notify me promptly and give me several options (at different price points) so I can make well informed decisions. For example, my tenant had reported to them that a few tiles came off of the shower and needed repair. AL sent several options from simple tile replacement to full shower wall redo - and each had detailed quotes from contractors

My guess is that the people that have posted positive reviews here are people from within the company, as the negative reviews stand true to my experiences.
Unresponsive. Horrible customer service. Cancel showing appointments minutes from the scheduled viewing times without excuse or apology. Professionalism and attentiveness is required in property management. My experiences have proven these things don't exist at Atlas Lane.

I wouldn't recommend them as a property management company for leasing and managing a property. They are unresponsive and they aren't great at communicating with clients. Communication may occur once a week via email after their weekly meeting. Their customer service is poor and seems to take forever to lease a place. They are too reliant on technology as oppose to having that human connection with the customer. With this property management company, the art of pleasing customers and having good service is lost.

Atlas Lane is great. I was with them for 3 years in a rental prior to Trever Faden helping me from renting my property to going through and purchasing the home. He worked side by side with me and current owners. He was very considerate and patient with me while dealing with a tough loan officer. Atlas Lane has managed our rental home for a year. We are very happy with the professional service they provide. Our rental is well cared for, they found great tenants for us and when we had major plumbing repairs they were solved quickly at fair prices. The vendors they use are top notch! The entire staff is friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend them!

Atlas Lane was absolutely great!! This was my first home purchase and he walked me through every step! He is still helping me when I have questions and it's been three months since my purchase! He also will email me just to check in and make sure everything is still good. I definitely recommend him if you are looking to buy or sell! Trever makes the process (almost) painless.

Atlas Lane made it easy for me to move into my apartment. He has always exceeded my expectations in a property manager. While he was the property manager, the grounds were very well maintained and any issues were attended to promptly. He is proactive to the needs of the community that he builds. Trever is by far the best building manager I have met. If I were to rent another apartment, I would definitely rent from him.

Great experience - I didn't end up renting through Atlas Lane, but their guidance and process were the best of any agency I visited when looking for an apartment in the area. Trever was eager to show me various options in their portfolio, but wasn't overly pushy. Their properties are about average in terms of price and quality - a good deal if it's in you're range. I ended up in a new building nearby and worked with a less stellar agency, but they were the only ones who supported the building.

Fantastic, straight forward communication in a timely manner (rare for a management company in my opinion). I have worked with several managements companies in different capacities, and I've never experienced this level of service. Trever at Atlas Lane have been amazing at managing my property and taking great care of my tenant. The communication is quick and professional, the monthly statements are accurate and the team is very responsive in taking care of repairs. As an out of state landlord, managing my own property from afar has been a challenge for the past 5 years and I only wish I had decided to use their services sooner.

The home owners then decided to sell and Trever called and gave us an opportunity to buy. He then took over that process and he handled everything very well. Atlas Lane has been successfully managing one of my properties for years now. I get updated when it's necessary, but for the most part it is very hands off for me, which is how it should be.

I've hired Atlas Lane twice now (in 2017 and this year) to rent out a property in a not so great neighborhood. The first time we went with tenants who had rapid rehousing support from the DC govt and they helped us navigate the whole process. They found us the second tenants within the first week of advertising the home. The guys at AL are really great to work with and accommodating to our needs and situation! I definitely recommend :)

Atlas Lane has been managing our house on U Street for a year, and we have been absolutely delighted with them. We had a previous property manager who was having trouble renting our house, but Atlas immediately identified the correct market price for the house, aggressively marketed it, and identified multiple strong prospects.
