My sons have been there for two and a half years. They have learned amazing values such as discipline and team work, and the dojo is a second family to us. This dojo is an excellent place where my children have learned to defend themselves and learn to help others, as well as themselves. If you need a place to bring your children to a place where they can learn such excellent values and become such excellent people, then this is the place for you!

I can't say enough great things about SMMA and master Jeff. We did a little dragons program for my son and he loved it so much. Master Jeff was patient and structured the class so kids of many different levels could learn together. My favorite part was the way he spoke with the students, using every opportunity for a life lesson, opening and closing with prayer and modeling a great attitude for the students. Can't wait to be back!

The one thing I think of when I think of South Miami Martial Arts and Master Jeff Wade and his staff is "family". Since day one when my boys joined it has been nothing but enlightening. The staff at SMMA is unique where they interact and treat every kid with understanding and patience bringing out the very best in each and every student. Great care and understanding has been provided to my son's and family through their time from the early start all the way to their black belt achievements. There truly the best martial arts program in South Florida....PERIOD! Keep up the great work Master Jeff

Our experience with both of our grandsons at So. Miami Martial Arts was nothing but amazing. Master Jeff and his staff really care about the students' progress in a comprehensive and holistic way. They encourage, uplift, challenge, and teach by being very positive role models. The impact is measurable and successful. We saw such a positive change in our grandsons that we would do it all over again. We highly recommend SMMA to any family. We are very grateful to Master Jeff for the high standards he and his staff represent.

This is the best place to learn Taekwondo, Master Jeff is very professional, great sense of humor, my son loves to participate in these classes for more than 4 years. All the Masters are excellent, the discipline and activities are wonderful. I really recommend this DOJO!!!

I cannot rate our experience at South Miami Martial Arts highly enough, both for the quality of teaching and sense of caring community extended to the students and their families. In eight years of being part of this community, I have regularly witnessed Grand Master Jeff, and the instructors he has trained, teaching and demonstrating elements of martial arts with diligence and discipline, combined with patience and care for each student, encouraging and/or challenging when appropriate. As a martial artist myself and Christian I appreciate Master Jeffs way of teaching the art of Tae Kwon Do, but also teaching the students the importance of life skills and respect, such as knowing names, respecting others, being prepared and on time and the consequences that may occur when not. Teaching his students the importance of being accountable not only to others but oneself. If you haven't checked out South Miami Martial Arts I recommend that you do, I promise you will not be disappointed.

SMTKD is an a great place for the family to not only learn Tae Kwon Do but a place for students to make friends in a family oriented environment. Master Jeff has done a great job at setting up a dojo where many of the upper belts are given opportunity to excerise leadership. Most instruction time is divided between stretching, forms, TKD skills and then Aikido.

Master Jeff Wade is a wonderful teacher who has overseen a transformation in my my daughter between her 8th and 13th years on earth.
She started out as a meek white belt who was terrified of being hit. She is now a proud Black Belt who is testing for her 2nd degree in February. "Master Your Life" is not just hot air at SMMA / SMTKD.
In addition to rising steadily up the ranks, Jade is on the honor roll at her middle school. She volunteers weekly at a program that serves underprivileged children at the Overtown YWCA.
