Acupuncture was developed in China more than 2,000 years ago but did not become popular in the United States until 1971. Acupuncture is a form of healing through the stimulation of anatomical points on the body by a variety of techniques. It is a method of balancing and building the body's energy known as Qi.
The informed consent document must be printed in color. If you don't have color printer it can be filled out when you arrive for your appointment. We have a strict NO SHOW policy. The link in the confirmation email can be used to cancel your appointment online up to 12 hours in advance or we require 24 hour notice of cancellation by phone or email.

Acupuncture is amazing. Since the start of 2021, I've been coming to People's Acupuncture roughly once a week on the advice of a naturopathic doctor, and it has helped me lose weight by managing PCOS and successfully conceive a baby. To clarify, I've had to make a lot of life changes as well, but I truly believe this was a major contributing factor. The other reviews made me want to bisit here for my chronic pain. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll return. I arrived on time and was respectful to Denise Saad, L.Ac; however, my experience was less than peaceful. Although she met professional standards, I felt unwelcomed and as if I was a waste of her time. Let's elaborate. I felt rushed to complete my paperwork when I wasn't finished in 5 mins.(not sorry, I have alot of meds and multiple disabilities). My pain and pregnancy felt undermined. I came to People's Acupuncture looking for help with issues I didn't think were addressed with acupuncture, and was therefore a little skeptical. I have seen Jennifer twice now, both times to incredible results. I get acupuncture regularly to feel more balanced. Denise is fantastic. She’s professional, intuitive and easy to talk to. She really gets how I’m feeling each time, be it physical, emotional or spiritual. She also suggests other techniques and practices if appropriate. Every time I leave feeling great, more grounded and more centered and enlivened.
