Macaluso's Lantern Restaurant and Cocktail Bar has been serving creative, classic Italian cuisine for over 30 years. We're a destination restaurant located at the front door of the Pocono Mountains, just minutes from historic Jim Thorpe in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania. And, we've got a cozy hotel right next door.
We use fresh market ingredients essential to capturing the authentic taste of traditional Italian dishes. Choice cut meats, fresh seafood, imported cheeses, high quality pastas and seasonal herbs are used in all our entrees. We offer mobile catering as well as in-house special event catering in our private elegant gathering room.

Not good at all. ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil, there was absolutely not one shred of garlic anywhere to be found.. it was like eating spaghetti with "water sauce"... so bland and tasteless. The meatballs... terrible. If you're from New York and are expecting good italian food... I would avoid this place.

It was our first time visiting Macaluso's and we couldn't have been happier! The food was AMAZING! Service was excellent! Kate, our server was AWESOME!!! I planned to take pics of the food when it came out but as soon as it hit the table, it looked so good I forgot..... We will definitely be back in the future!

We went to Macaluso’s about two years ago for my husbands 30th birthday. Hopefully we just came on a bad night but I never want to go there again. First, I wanna say the food was immaculate. Absolutely delicious. The place was a little busy but not too crazy. We waited three hours for our food.. there was about 5 of us total. We asked for my daughters food first, all she wanted was buttered noodles. That’s it. She still waited three hours with the rest of us. Mind you, we had reservations. So it’s not like we just walked in while it was super busy. Our waiter was not attentive like the other
