Services
In 1966, George Washington of Billings, Montana, was the acting Vice President of Burlington Northern Oil and Gas Division. Being an active member of the Billings community, he knew that the city was becoming a medical hub for patients coming to the Mayo Clinic. Accommodations in town were meager at best, so George saw his calling to create a hospitable place for the town's guests to stay.
In the heart of Downtown Billings, we are close to art galleries, shopping, a library, fantastic restaurants, and much more! Locally owned and operated, we look forward to your visit. Our front desk reception area is open 24-hours a day. We promise to treat our guests with the upmost respect and hospitality.
This comfortable, cozy room will make your stay in Billings feel like home. It features a comfortable single queen bed, along with all of our standard amenities, including high-speed internet, a 32 LCD TV, individually-controlled heating and cooling, an iron and ironing board, and more! Our two Kitchenette rooms feature two queen beds and enough space to make you feel right at home.
Located in the heart of Downtown Billings in the Hospital District, Cherry Tree Inn is within walking distance from restaurants and shopping. Billings, Montana is home to pristine beauty, outdoor adventure, shopping and history, and Cherry Tree Inn is nestled in the center of town with convenient access to a variety of activities.

We have stayed at the Cherry Tree for 50 years. Lately it has really gone down hill. I stayed there last week for 2 nights. The 2nd day room wasn't touched but I was charged the same fee. There was a major smell of cigarette smoke. We aren't going to stay there anymore. It's not worth the price.

Didn't get the correct price showed from booking.com. Payment was taken on site. About $20 more than I agreed to during booking. Brother in-law straight out of hospital had a second floor room, close to a door entrance with stairs. Unfortunately got no rest due to many unmanaged kid's running in and out. Rooms were very nice, mattress was uncomfortable for them. Not much of a continental breakfast. Front lobby was cute and clean. Parking was decent. Felt a little uncomfortable with the 5 or more smoker's at the office entrance. Not sure if guests or random people loitering.

This has been my overnight stay from Seattle for the last 10 years. I get the same room, usually the same price. This time starts with the reservation call. First they tell me I can't get a room because they only have 1 staff cleaning rooms. After begging he said he would have 1 ready by the time I pulled up at 9pm. Go to check in, and there is what appears to be a homeless Native American girl using the guest telephone by the check-in window, forcing me to wait to check in after 13 hrs driving. Finally after helping herself to some more free popcorn, she moves on. I never see the attendant wipe

The hotel is nice. The outside appearance doesn't do it justice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice furniture. I stayed in a single and it had a comfortable bed, a small round pedestal dining table with 2 chairs, a microwave, and a fridge. The TV came with A LOT of channels, more than I've seen at other much pricier hotels. Staff was warning about the big homeless population around the area, but I didn't see anyone fitting that profile.
One strange thing is that the lady who checked me in offered to drive me to the airport in the morning, but was gone when I went to meet her at the agreed

Very convenient for medical related stays. The rooms were clean. Lobby had cigarette odor and the rooms I stayed in were smoking rooms at one time. Close to downtown, shopping and restaurants. Rooms need updated and by all means, bring your own pillow. The ones provided are horrible.

Do not come here. Lady was nice but unwilling to refund the room I did not use at all. It was left unopened and it did not feel secure. She also said it was weird for a guy to make a comment about security in a room. I did not want to argue with her. She only seemed to care to cover her back and not care for other people's concerns. I will not remove this unless management reaches out to me for a full refund.
It is not worth your time or money. Drive a few minutes to a different hotel.

Been going to Cherry Tree every 3-6 months for many, many years. Always pleasant people, SUPER friendly and rooms are always clean. If need like fridge or microwave, just ask. Always willing if available. Will never go any place else. Price is awesome!!
