Our veterinary clinic is run by a team of Dr. veterinarians, who are licensed and experienced veterinary doctors. We are a full-service veterinary clinic for all companion, horse, livestock and exotic animals.
Our hospital offers convenient office hours and on-call emergency care, both in the clinic and at your farm or home. Our retail sales department carries a variety of premium pet diets produced by trusted companies, as well as essential products from collars and leashes to shampoos and toys. In addition, we carry prescription diets to meet your pet's specific needs.

Services
Our clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. We work on an appointment basis and can offer house calls and extended hour appointments to you, as well. Our large boarding facility is climate-controlled and pets are checked daily by a veterinarian.
We maintain our office on an appointment basis, so that your time and ours can be utilized efficiently. We will do our best to keep you informed of any delays and to make your wait as minimal and as comfortable as possible. We offer extended hours appointments for working clients, whose schedules cannot be accommodated by our regular clinic hours.
We feel that a well-groomed pet not only looks great, but that grooming improves the health and attitude of our pets. A well-groomed pet is a healthier and happier pet, which makes for a happier owner! Each pet that comes to our studio is groomed on an individual basis to suit his or her special needs.
We offer one of the best supervised and cleanest boarding facilities in the area. Our kennels are warm, sanitary and of sufficient size to make your pet's stay a comfortable one. Dogs and cats are housed separately to minimize stress during their stay. Meals are served twice a day, unless your pet has special needs.
Our building is located at the blinking light intersection found at the corner of Fir Villa Road and Ellendale Avenue. If you call after normal clinic hours, you will reach an answering machine. The recording will detail how in emergency cases how to proceed: to leave a message and then how to reach us by pager.

I had already been impressed with Dallas Animal Clinic for my two cats regular checkups, but when it came to my dear kitty's end of life decision, Dr. McGuire was there for me. He went over and above through all of the stages, from exam to diagnosis to breaking the news to me. He was kind, gentle and professional throughout all. He has my highest recommendation.

We have been talking our pets there fir 16 years . We love our doctor but the new business model that they have taken since new ownership is based on profit and not animals care. To be seen for anything that is not pure scheduledn, and that is 2 plus months out, is $150.00. The even for obvious issues they want to do all these test which cost hundreds of dollars. You will not come out of there for less the $500.00 a visit. Yes this is even on a guinea pig. Who we love very much but only cost is $20.00. Sorry cant do it! Anyone have a suggestion on anew vet?

I live in the neighborhood adjacent Dallas Animal Clinic. Dr. McGuire has taken good care of my pets for many years. I have spent thousands with them. The team is nice though disorganized at times. As the town has grown they have acquired so many patients that don't miss the ones who have gone elsewhere. I consider myself lucky when I can get through to someone on the phone. And even luckier when not disconnected while on hold. The new website is a slap in the face. Dr. McGuire is not even included. I have been insured he still works there. This site was designed to make it easier on the staff

I have had the worst luck with vets and the way they treat you or your animal. How you get these feelings about people that question if leaving your animal in their care is really the best idea. Ever since my first experience and surgery with my dog and Dallas AC I’ve never felt more blessed. My dog has a lot of issues and they have always been able to do what’s best for him and pass the information that I need to succeed with him. From the office people to the techs to the vets they are an amazing talented team. Thank you Dallas AC.
