Ash Creek Animal Clinic is proud to have been a part of the Independence, Oregon, community since 1990. We are a full-service companion animal hospital, and are committed to providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of each pet. We treat dogs, cats, reptiles, and small exotic mammals, offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care, including well-pet care, early detection and treatment of disease, and geriatric care.
Ranger Project, a 501(c)3 organization, provides quality pet food and supplies for families with pets facing a financial or medical emergency. Ranger Project looks to fill that temporary need for well deserving pet families, that once on their feet again are the first to come help provide assistance to other families in need.

Bob and Laura are great.
Their practice has expanded in the last few years, verdict is still out on the two that have joined their practice. Have found that their opinions with ongoing health issues with older dogs don't always agree with Bob and Laura. Bob and Laura seem to take into account changes in behavior in addition to test results when tests are on the fringes when determining course of action. Perhaps a more conservative approach, not to say one is better than the other, but it's hard to work with both at the same time. Luckily, usually can request who you want to see when scheduling

Very unprofessional. The clinic staff were more focused on going home early, than providing help. Even though they were still open and I was physically there, they refused to sell an OTC item, and instructed me to drive (20+ min) to a vet in Dallas. Totally unacceptable.

We were told we needed to spend $2200 to save our cat and after we paid, 3 days later they told us there was nothing they could do and we had to put our cat down. In my opinion don't bring your furbabies here unless you're not worried about shady people taking your money and then putting them to sleep.
I don't want anyone else to go through the pain and heartbreak we did.

I love this clinic. The doctors are so patient with my laundry list and thorough in their exams and listening. I feel like Pocket is getting excellent care. They're a bit more expensive than some other local options, but after leaving 2 other local/cheaper clinics after mistakes and poor care I consider the slightly higher rates worth it! And honestly, their exam fees are very reasonable.
Bonus: they don't make me feel like an antivaxxer in a pediatrician office when I mention we raw feed.
I highly recommend these doctors!
