Learn why you have pain and imbalances by having a video gait analysis. This will not only help identify inefficiencies but will help prevent injury and improve performance. Functional Dry Needling (FDN) involves inserting a tiny monofilament needle in a muscle or muscles in order to release shortened bands and decrease trigger point activity.

Services
Your PT session is one full hour of one-on-one evaluation and treatment by a licensed physical therapist. We are experienced in not only treating and relieving your pain, but finding and addressing the source. Only with a full hour can the therapist adequately assess and treat the pain issue. Many of our clients have experienced other courses of treatment without success.
The worlds most advanced run analysis technology used to only be available at Universities and for the highest level athletes. But now it is here at Run Raleigh PT. Our analysis enables us to identify the subtle biomechanical problems that are likely to have caused your injury. These abnormalities are often impossible to detect by eye or with video based systems.
Our therapists utilize the Pilates Reformer and Core Align equipment to enhance strength training during sessions. Both of these pieces of equipment are designed to allow for supportive and also resistive training, and so are appropriate for myriad patient populations - from postoperative care, to work with high level endurance athletes.
Want a safe, challenging total body workout that takes less than 30 minutes? Redcord exercises can activate several muscle groups during a single exercise so training time is reduced. Redcord suspension exercises improve strength, muscular endurance, balance, coordination, core muscle stability, and neuromuscular control.
Good running mechanics not only allow competitive runners to perform at their peak, but reduces the risk of injury in everyday runners who run for exercise, weight management, and just for the joy of running. However, not all runners run on the same terrain, and many argue that assessing running gait on a treadmill does not give you a real-world picture of the subject's everyday running style.

RunRaleigh is the best PT for runners in the Triangle! I give credit to Abby D and staff for consistently helping this masters-age runner continue to run the miles and get to the start line. RunRaleigh gets the highest marks for both prevention and injury treatment!

I had a really great first experience with Run Raleigh. I saw Sara Beth. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. She identified the problem area very quickly and gave me a plan of action to begin correcting it. I am hopeful that I am on a path to significantly less pain in the future.

When I threw my back out, Urgent Care did nothing but prescribe opioids and muscle relaxants that did nothing to touch the agony. Jennifer used her magic to get me literally back on my feet without pain. I can't recommend these folks highly enough - they're above and beyond your typical PT.

Today’s PT session was awesome!!! I was moved to tears after months of struggling with a persistent mild injury having someone so focused on helping to make that joint feel better and give me back pain-free motion was amazing!!! I also now understand what to do to continue to feel better and how to prevent injuries like this in the future! Everyone should have a PT in their corner!
