Oak Glen Preschool utilizes The Sensory Teaching Method where the premise is to help children learn through a variety of senses. Preschool is such wonderful time in a child's educational life and can be a springboard from the home into a world of learning. Our overall goal is to assist parents in preparing their child/children for Kindergarten and future school years through a safe, positive, nurturing, engaging and fun learning environment.
Oak Glen Preschool recognizes the needs and differences between 3 and 4 year old students. We provide unique and different classes for each age group to facilitate learning experiences that are age appropriate. Our program utilizes The Sensory Teaching Method and incorporates the Desk Standards provided by the Davis School District for Early Childhood-ages 3 to 5, and Kindergarten.

I've had 3 kids attend Oak Glen Preschool over the last 6 years. It has been such a wonderful experience for my children. Miss Char is the perfect balance of a loving teacher in a learning environment. My children have all been very well prepared for entering Kindergarten and I feel that it is hugely in thanks to Miss Char's teaching. Miss Char also does a wonderful job of communicating with parents and responds quickly to any questions. I felt very comfortable and safe leaving my children in her care. The drop off and pick up of the children is very smooth. Her classroom management is great and

We have loved our last 2 years with Ms. Char. She is a great teacher and is very structured which provides a great learning environment for the children. We always point out her house as we pass "that's my preschool!" My son has loved her as a teacher and he has thrived. He has made some best little friends and participates in outside activities with them which is so fun. I'm planning on sending my youngest to Oak Glen as well. Ms. Char is wonderful!

My son attended Oak Glen Preschool for two years and loved every minute of it. Ms. Char is wonderful. My son has learned so much. She is very organized and has a great routine. The kids seem to thrive while at preschool. She teaches them skills to prepare for Kindergarten and also life skills. The four year old class goes on field trips and has music time and they love it. We love Ms. Char, my son will miss her so much! I would absolutely recommend Oak Glen Preschool to anyone who is looking for a preschool. We can't wait for our younger kids to be able to attend :)

I can't say enough great things about Oak Glen Preschool and Miss Char. Our oldest son has completed her 3 and 4 year old programs over the past two years. We now have full confidence in sending him to Kindergarten prepared for the classroom experience.
Miss Char creates a happy, organized, friendly environment for children to learn. I especially like that her curriculum is up to pace with todays learning in the elementary schools. 3 of my kids went to Oak Glen Preschool and they loved it!! Miss Char is the best teacher! She is very patient and wonderful with kids! Each of my kids were ready for Kindergarten because of what Miss Char taught them in preschool. They learned to write their name as well as the other letters in the alphabet! I wish I would of know about Oak Glen Preschool with my oldest so she could of had the same positive preschool experience. We LOVE Miss Char and Oak Glen Preschool!!

Where to start? I cannot say enough good things about Oak Glen Preschool...in my opinion, it's the only place for kids to go! Miss Char taught both of my children in preschool and they thrived under her care and teaching. Miss Char is like a magnet...the kids love her and just eat her up! I love the curriculum she uses and she does a great job of helping each child in their individual needs. I was a bit worried about my shy and young-for-her-grade daughter starting preschool but she LOVED going to Oak Glen and when it came time to start kindergarten, Miss Char had her both socially and academically

Oak Glen Preschool is fabulous! Miss Char is so wonderful, nurturing and provides so many opportunities for the children to grow and expand their learning and social experiences. Miss Char is very organized and teaches the children to follow a routine and structure while still providing the room for creative play and experimentation. This is the 4th year I've had a child in Oak Glen Preschool, and I highly recommend it. The crafts are darling, and the children learn so many songs, sign language, dance, letters, etc. and have opportunities to speak and share with the other children in class. I love

My son enjoyed two years with Miss Char at her preschool, and is now excelling in kindergarten. My younger son is about to start and cannot wait to be in Miss Char's class. Oak Glen is a wonderful preschool program. Char makes learning fun, takes individual interest in each child, and structures the programs to best help each child succeed. Materials are age appropriate, and my son was ready for kindergarten because of her help, and even tested at above-grade levels. All four of my children will be attending Oak Glen Preschool, and I would highly recommend it to any parent.
