I got carry out and I really enjoyed it. I called in and the guys were very helpful and happily got me whatever I asked for and the price was good. We were really happy with the food. The portions were good and the flavor was good. I would happily order from this place again. I have nothing negative to say about it.

This is the best Mediterranean restaurant in the area. We’ve been going here for years, and the food has always been consistent. It’s clean, the owner is super friendly and they have the best Gyro sandwiches. The potatoes are almost ALWAYS made fresh to order. Highly recommend trying this place out as opposed to the chain Mediterranean spots surrounding!

I had the gyro, meat was good ,not over seasoned like other places , maybe a little dry but It was 30 min beforethey closed so I figured that was the reason meat was like that, and the tzatziki sauce was creamy.
Yellow rice was soft and good flavor, beef Sharma was a little shewy but was well seasoned, pita bread was good, I'll definitely come back.

This shirt haired leprechaun looking guy with a pot belly who is supposed to take your order is extremely rude. Wants you to pay extra to be able to use your debit card and also extremely unfriendly. He wouldn’t even answer my question as to which one is is better— chicken shawarma or beef shawarma. I will not be back after this. Customer service is very bad, I do not feel welcomed here and that’s saying a lot!
I used to come here a lot back when another person ran the place. They were from Lebanon and were nice. The atmosphere here isn’t nice anymore

Honestly don’t even know where to start. Every single thing was amazing and even the owner himself was fabulous. Falafel like nothing you will have anywhere else. He makes it himself fresh and cooks upon order.… Pita, amazing. Fava beans, hummus, you name it. This place tops all and we’ve eaten a lot of Mediterranean. Bet on that!

It was an odd experience. I was warmly greeted. I chose a protein of lamb kabob, medium rare. The Greek salad was good. The spinach in phyllo was not enjoyable. While my kabobs were on the grill the cook left the kitchen. 20 minutes or more. No visible staff. They served the hard, dry, tough kabobs to me. I struggled to cut them. They remade the kabobs. Nuked the bread. Staffing issues? It began so well.

Boycotting this place because the owner forced us to order side dish. Me and my wife went there and ordered 2 sandwiches and bill was <15$. Owner said, you can't order just a sandwich and need to order a side. I said you can't force me to order and eat what I don't want to eat. I want to eat just sandwich. He said then you can't dine in and have to take out. I said what kind of logic is this. He said due to COVID, these are his new rules. I said sorry, I can't be forced to eat and spend money for your profit. We said that we will dine out in car and never come ba k. He was okay with that. He didnt

Good lamb shank. The rice was cold so they brought out steaming hot rice when I pointed that out. It was tasty! It went well with the pita bread. The bread came out nice and warm with a little crunch. No MSG in any of their food! That’s a huge plus! The fries had a perfect crunch and not too salty.

Best authentic Mediterranean cuisine in the Clearlake/Webster area. Dimassi's and others do not measure up to the quality and taste of Al Basha. Our entire family loves their food. Clean restraunt, and all the staff are friendly and wear their masks. Cant say enough about their meat, .... the best. Give them a try, Im betting you will be pleased. They also support our law enforcement and Ellington military. Good people, outstanding Mediterranean cuisine!

Always a phenomenal meal! My go-to meal is the Chicken Shawarma Plate served with tabouleh and the eggplant casserole! It is to die for! I always receive a very generous helping. I LOVE the garlic sauce for dipping my chicken!!! My husband loves the Chicken Shawarma Plate with the fatoush salad and fava bean salad. He prefers the tahini sauce (special request) over the garlic sauce. The owner and employees are very friendly and welcoming. They are very gracious and truly appreciate the return business. My co-workers have Al Basha on their rotating lunch schedule especially because of the

Multiple gluten-free options and THE BEST falafel ever!

My go-to is typically a vegetable plate. Every dish has been fresh and delicious. I can fill up on my favorites (falafel, grape leaves, Jerusalem salad & eggplant) at a great price and with great service.

I would love to share a picture, but this is usually what my plate looks like by the time I remember!

T-Mobile Tuesday special9/8/2020 walk in the first three trays are dirty, food portions good, Cook or facemask under chin not over face, gentleman took our order was the only one in the entire store wearing a mask, busboy did not have a mask on at all nor did I suspect either manager or owner no mask at all and walking around restaurant and back to the kitchen and out again coming out with food and still no mask,
I did not see anyone wearing hair protection like hair netting or a hat.

But again food portion was good it was a little dry I had to gyro plate.

Rude staff, chicken was dry and chewy and felafel tastes like liver. The dining room was dirty and sticky, my shirt kept sticking to the back of the chair so I changed chairs and same thing happened. We took… our food to go for the dog and not sure if he will even eat it. Also very pricey and price gouged us. Never ever will I be back or recommend.

Stay away! No one was wearing a mask of gloves! Normally this wouldn't be a deal breaker but given how the world is and my personal efforts to keep myself and my loved ones safe, it is.

I walked in wearing my mask, but was very surprised to see no one wearing a mask or practicing social distancing.

I placed an order over the phone, and the man in the other end was quite rude. Upon arrival no one else was at this restaurant. The man over the phone continues to have a slight attitude with me when I tell him what I'd like for the sides.

I ended up buying some extra sides, which included

This place used to be so good. Unfortunately it has really fallen in its quality. I got thr combo #2 plate. The food was either overly salty or tasted like it was days old and not fresh. The combo doesnt even include a drink. The guy that takes your order seems like he doesnt have an ounce of customer service in him. He's very short and unwelcoming. Pretty much acts like he's doing you a favor by even taking your order. Portion sizes are small compared to other places you may see. I asked for fries and he pulled out a bag from the freezer and slammed it on the counter! Just further confirming how

The food is really good, a lil pricey, the staff has always been friendly, and gave us everything we needed, but today was a bad day, they were rude, and forced us to pay for an extra side that we did not want, they said it was policy when dining in that we had to get a side with the sandwich, or entree, which isn't fair, if I don't want a side, I shouldn't be forced to buy it, and that even if ordering to go, we have to pay the same price.

Came here for Saturday brunch when Snooze down the street had a 1+ hour wait! Ordered the chicken shawarma plate (comes with 2 sides). I chose the pasta salad & eggplant casserole as my sides. Free pita bread at the end of the line.

Restaurant is cafeteria-style. There were only 2 people working the entire restaurant so there was a bit of a delay making sure everyone in line had their sides before checking out at the cashier. You seat yourself. Overall, the food quality is good and the price is reasonable ($10-11 for my plate). Portions were generous so I was able to take 1/3 of it home.

Four adults & a picky toddler were staying at the Holiday Inn behind Al Basha and I was finally able to try a spot I've been eyeing for some time. (We're not local but may as well be.) And boy, did we try things. Lots and lots of things. This review won't be short.

We used the handy Yelp app to order and my daughter and I walked over to pick up as our food was being made. First impression was the smell is fantastic when you walk in the door, and it was very clean. We weren't quite sure what we were supposed to do as we waited, so we checked out all of the offerings

The food is absolutely delicious ! I'm new to the area and only here working but I wanted to find something good and tasteful. Trying AL BASHA was just that!! The taste is just right ! I ordered the lamb kabob plate with rice and salad!! The lamb was cooked the moment I ordered it and not to mention the fresh soft pita bread which I could probably eat a dozen! I highly recommend you try this place .. while waiting I saw the kitchen prepare the gyro wrap and it looked amazing so I'll be trying that next!!

The service is good .. I ordered a lamb kabob but somehow the plates got mixed
