I was headed overseas to pick up a sailboat in La Rochelle, France. I needed a new battery in my diving watch and it was nice to see a professional do the job right. Not only did he quickly do the job for a fair price, he also checked to see that the watch casing could handle water pressure. Thank you for the great work. I will be back.

I went in for a couple of watch batteries and they could not have been nicer! Replaced my battery for a reasonable fee, checked the other one and found it was ok (watch was bad). Highly recommended.

Great price, fixed my husbands Tissot watch for a fantastic price, also ran a time test on it and adjusted it. I am so impressed. The original bid I got from Tissot to fix the stem of the watch was over $200!! I payed around $40 for the stem and crown. They have Definitely one over my business!!

These guys know their stuff!
I got a battery replaced at Times Ticking up a month or two ago and noticed that my watch’s back wasn’t flush with the casing. Took it back and they didn’t fix the issue, called Mt. Olympus and they wanted to charge $50 even if I didn’t need a new battery, so I came here instead.
He looked at it and pressure tested and found it had a leak. They put the wrong o-ring in so he put the correct size in and made sure not to cross thread it like they did. Maybe 5 minute fix and only charged $5 for the o-ring. Saved me money and got the job done right! Thanks guys

Chris is top notch. He is extremely well researched and knows his craft well. Watching him work on a watch is like watching a delicate surgery. The man is talented and very professional. 12/10

Great place to get everything you could possibly need for your watch - including buying a back-up watch! Great selection of new and vintage timepieces. The owner, Chris, can fix everything from your family heirloom to your yard work watch. Who needs an Apple Watch that tells you what to do - or can't apparently really even tell you if you are "breathing"? Buy a work of mechanical precision - it is what "time" is really all about.
Check the place out - small business needs customers!

Had an issue were my SKX007j1 was running very fast. They repaired it quickly for a very reasonable price. They also gave me advice for my watch and small informative lesson on the movement in my watch.

What a great experience today at Fankhauser Jewelry. I brought two watches in for battery change and it was done ON THE SPOT with pressure testing too! The owner was very knowledgeable about my watches and super pleasant to chat with. So happy to know this shop is in my neighborhood. Highly recommend!

The owner of Fankhauser Jewelry, Christopher Howard, has always been very professional, helpful, and honest.
Christopher strung a gorgeous necklace of beautiful pearls for me to give to my wife. He expertly crafted the strand and made sure we were pleased with our purchase. He is currently servicing a vintage watch passed down to me from my grandfather. I have no doubt the piece is in good hands.
I highly recommend him for all your jewelry needs.
Did I mention he has a case full of wonderful horological candy for your consideration?

I am from out of town but wanted someone to help me clean up and put in a new battery for my dad's watch. I found Fankhauser on yelp after looking through everyone's reviews. I absolutely loved Chris and his expertise on watches. I end up buying two gorgeous antique Omega wind up watches while I was there. The prices were great and he even gave me a little discount for the two. The watches are running very accurately and I am going to ship my other antique watches to Chris so he can repair it.

His workmanship is so hard to find now a days and I am so happy I have someone I can trust

Brought my Hamilton Chronograph Automatic in without an appointment, on a Tuesday around 11:00 AM. He took a look at it immediately, opened it up, and checked the mechanisms. Charged me $10 when he didn't find anything that needed replacing. It's hard to find independent watch shops that aren't associated with nationwide jewelers, so this place was an amazing find.

A friend sent my early 70's vintage Seiko Pogue chronograph to Chris Howard at Fankhauser. It died in the early '80's and I unsuccessfully attempted to diagnose and repair. Thereafter, the watch and its disassembled parts sat in plastic sour cream container until my friend asked about it. It took some time for Chris to track down the appropriate parts, but he got the watch back to me and it works and looks great. If you are a watch lover and have a vintage or current watch that could use some TLC, I highly recommend this business. In my conversations with Chris he demonstrated

Fankhauser is the best watch shop I have been to.

First and foremost great prices on servicing and repairs. If you are just trying to save a couple bucks this is a great shop.

BUT... Chris is also 100% the real deal and knows all of his stuff when it comes to vintage pieces. He is dialed into the watch community and knows exactly what he is talking about.

I have lived in a bunch of different cities across the states, and now when I am hunting for a watch Fankhauser is my first call because Chris will know everything about the piece and how to solve any niggles it may have.

To the hater named Spencer below,
His door is always locked you dipshit. That's why he has to buzz you in. He obviously knew that you are a tool and he couldn't be bothered to sweat you as he's closing up. You ever worked with your hands? Didn't think so. I swear, people never cease to amaze me. Grow up. And go fetch me a hipster burger, boy.

Pathetic. He Answered the phone pissed off, 30 minutes to closing. Said he was closing in 10 minutes "20 minutes early" I told him I would be there in 5 minutes he said okay. Showed up 5 minutes later door was locked and he just looked at me. I cannot wait until they tear down your crappy building and put in another hipster burger joint.

I called Chris to price out replacing the cracked bezel on my vintage Omega constellation, and he advised me to bring it in so he could check it out. I went in and he found the replacement part for cheaper than I had anticipated, directly from omega so we ordered it. Within a week or two it arrived and Chris put it on my watch with no troubles. He showed me how my watch was doing with a timegrapher, he regulated it, and even showed me the movement under a microscope and explain some things. Chris was friendly, knowledgeable, and very upfront about everything. When it's time for service for
