Kiklo provides a 5 star experience with very talented, kind, and accommodating staff and stylists. My 4 year old daughter received her first ever haircut today while I got a balayage and cut from the very talented Brittany. Olga was super sweet and fun with my daughter making her feel like a superstar through the whole experience, and Brittany had both mommy and daughter leaving feeling like a million bucks and looking like princesses. We love the place, people, and service and will never go anywhere else (unless they change location and we follow).

The salon posted the attached content on their insta on 5/14/21. I responded and asked what if I lived with an immunocompromised person? If I did, vaccination status would be of the utmost importance to me. I also suggested that the "choice" they referred to in this post is more appropriately applied to clothing choices and not when the overall health of the community is involved. Salon Kiklo promptly blocked me from their Insta and then disabled comments on the post. I suppose we have to presume safety of their clientele and staff is not top of mind. Heads up.

George and the salon was wonderful. My first visit since the quarantine and I felt so safe and in good hands. George cut my hair exactly as I wanted and my husband is seeing him next week. Will be returning for color. Highly recommended salon in New Canaan.

Kiklo rocks!! I have been going for cuts and color for the past two years and am very happy! It is a beautiful, airy place, the service is outstanding and George who is the master cutter has achieved some cutting miracles with my hair! Upon reopening after June 1 all the staff was organized and very cute in their PPE and they had taken the limitations totally in their stride.

Best salon in the area. I have tried many places, all good, but I think Salon Kiklo is exceptional. They go above and beyond to accomodate their clients, and the cuts and color are fantastic. Many salons have great stylists, but Kiklo is unique in its professionalism and service. Will never go anywhere else!

They don't know how to do proper highlights, my hair came out darker and barely there highlights. I payed over $200 for my hair to look dark ! I wanted a face frame highlights, my stylist changed her mind and just did a partial. So I didn't even get want I made the appointment for. The shampooing is painful and not relaxing at all.

There are certain things you just don't change, ever, in life and the person you go to for your hair cut is one of them. I have been George's client since 2014 and even after having lived abroad for two years, I was still blown away at the perfection once I returned this year. As a person who can be particular about certain things and especially so with the people I entrust my overall image or well-being to, I can say with full confidence that George's work is world-class. The best hair salon around! Jen is the most talented colorist I've ever met, she fixed 7 years of major damage in 7 months. I will never trust someone else with my blonde again! Jess and Erika are also amazing stylists. Erika is a queen at updos and Jess is so good at haircuts! The manager Mila is also a doll! She is accommodating and friendly. Love my experiences every time!

I recently had a unpleasant experience in this salon, I can't say anything bad about a pleasant interior, a location. I came there to make new style or at least hair cut for 3 years old girl, they washed hair 12 minutes with different adult products, why, this is just 3 year old child, but the haircut, ectulaly was 4 minutes. The stylist Alisha nibbled my baby's hair, nibbled so, the hair cut in general is disfigured and this cause to lost length of hair, so for now we have to do short hair cut to balanced this horror by Alisha.A couple of days later we came there to correct the situation

Firstly - my two teenage children have been going to Kiklo for a few years now and I'm usually incredibly happy with the results. George, Heather and Janine are brilliant. I'm sure others there are great too - I've just always dealt with George, Heather and Janine. I have just returned home from Kiklo and I'm fuming. George - who is amazing - is away so I had to have someone else. I received a 'trim' to my short hair. It took 15 mins and I now have the hair of a 10 year old boy. No product in it to finish it off or try to give it any style. 15 mins in the chair getting

I have been to Salon Kiklo several times for highlights and haircuts. The staff that greet you are very friendly and the stylist that did my color/cut was excellent.
The only thing that I found to be negative about Salon Kiklo, hence my reason for a less than perfect review, is that it seems like no one who works there gets along with each other. While sitting waiting for my color to set, or getting shampooed, every single time I went there - EVERY time, I witnessed an argument or tense moment between two or more stylists or assistants. I have gone to Salon Kiklo many times. I have found the customer service level and stylists to be fantastic. Stacy, who greats clients at the front is always helpful, cheerful, and does her best to fit you in even when you don't have an appt. but need a service.
Lupe for blow dries is incredible. Better than every other stylist around Fairfield and NYC. The assistants are always very kind and ask to give you cappuccino's, sparkling water, etc.

This Salon I had heard was supposedly very good, maybe it was just my stylist who was not good. He hurt the heck out of my head while brushing and blowdrying it. I have fine hair, so it is very prone to tangling. He would constantly yank the brush through my hair and he kept apologizing for the horrifying sounds that my hair was making yet he continued to brush like a maniac. Once the hair cut was finished and I looked in the mirror, all around my head was a ring of broken hair, making a halo of broken hair stand up on my head. Salon Kiklo is by far the best place I've been for highlights or style. I've been going for 3 years and have never been any thing but entirely thrilled. George, owner and colorist extraordinaire listens to what you want and gives expert suggestions. My hair is hard to color, changes with our well water, yet he always knows what to do.
And, don't let the New Canaan address fool you. Salon Kiklo's a fun, casual, funky salon, great people, very low key...no stuffiness here!! And, believe it or not, the prices are more reasonable than any in the area.

I got hair extensions a few days ago, and was in town for a very special event, so I needed a blow out. I made an appointment in advance with someone who had experience working with hair extensions, and when I got there I asked her to be careful of the extensions. The girl who did my hair was really sweet but was tugging at the extensions so hard that the entire time I was getting my hair done I was literally wincing in pain. I absolutely love this salon. I love the whole atmosphere. Its got exposed brick and modern/eclectic decor and they treat you like a goddess from the minute you walk in as they offer you a smile and a cappuccino. I am so obsessed with this salon that I go every week for a blowout. I go to Mallory who is amazing, but they are all really great! They do the best color out of all the salons that I have been to.....Toni and George are awesome, but, again, they are all great. You cant go wrong with anybody there! Its the best!

Jeanine cuts my hair and George is my colorist. I always leave feeling 100% more stylish than when I walked in. I have had Ron as an assistant several times and holy cow my shampoo was like a bonus spa experience! The last couple of times I went I had a new assistant named Denise who is just as amazing. I came in with a throbbing headache and a shampoo and condition with Denise worked wonders.
At my last color appointment George tried a new technique from a recent class he had taken and I absolutely loved it. Jeanine has an artist's eye and just seems to know how to give my fine straight

I visited Salon Kiklo about a week ago for a last minute haircut. I was in town visiting and had stopped in to see if they happened to have any last minute appointments - my hair was getting shaggy and I was interviewing. I had luck on my side because they had a slot!
