Great walkability and real sense of safety. Staff provided a warm welcome and were quite helpful. Only thing I would improve is the lighting in the bedroom for late night reading. Though the hotel was just off the road, the construction of the building was such that I, just one room back from the road, was not disturbed at all by road noise.

We had a last minute change of plans with our original hotel in Santa Rosa. I found The Bergson has availability for 2 nights and despite the reviews I read on Yelp; I didn't have a choice so I booked it.
When we reached the location we were amazed how clean the property was. Guest service was kind and helpful. We were given room 202 and it was on the 2nd floor. It's a cozy room with an a/c, fridge, microwave and comfortable bed. The luxury products in the bathroom was a plus! It was equipped with body lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The shower got hot fast but it's

My wife and I chose this property for our first time in Calistoga. We only did an overnight stay during the weekdays, but the following are some of the key observations from this place.
Location
*Situated at the end of Lincoln avenue, where a good amount of stores are to be found, we were able to walk roundtrip from the property to CalMart (Market & Deli) in 15 minutes.
*Advice: if you are to select a room, I would suggest any room besides those that are next to the busy street.
*Good amount of parking on site.
Service
*The staff was amazing & very friendly.
*We were initially placed

Not a good report for this hotel.
I booked this hotel on Expedia with the insurance in case of emergency which I had. One day after taking the Pfizer vaccine and I was totally out of commission and called the hotel 2 days prior to arrival. I asked for a refund because I was driving over 400 miles!
I have nothing nice to say about the manager we dealt with so I will just let readers know they don't care about guests as they proclaim. In this post Covid atmosphere it would be beneficial to refund when its valid (with proof).

This is a cute bed and breakfast. The room was neat and comfortable. It was extremely small though. For $150 bucks a night I expected it to be slightly bigger. It looked bigger in the pictures when I booked it. But everything else was good. The bed was comfortable, they had left a bottle of water and a face/eye mask as a welcome gift. There is a fireplace that kept the room warm. The grab and go breakfast was nice. Their homemade granola was really impressive. The staff was polite. It's located in downtown and there were many good restaurants at stones throw distance. We enjoyed our stay there

Although the bed is comfortable, the blankets that are chosen do not breathe and it was impossible to stay at a comfortable temperature, even when setting the thermostat to a very cold temperature. The rooms are not insulated well and you can expect to be disturbed by both the noise on the street (it is right next to the main street) as well as your neighbors.
Things that went well were that the room was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient.

First of all, this place is a total dump. Pictures show as a nice clean quaint hotel... that is not. There was dirt smeared across the wall in the bathroom (I hope it was just dirt??) and long pieces of hair. There was also exposed sheet rock near the light fixture. Also, the fountain on the patio did not work, just had a stagnant pool of musty water in it. The worst part was that the Fireplace pilot LOUDLY click click clicked the whole time the fireplace was on... making it completely unusable.
When I spoke to the manager about these issues she was completely rude and condescending.

Excellent convenient location, walking distance to entertainment which is great for those of us who are planning to consume more than one alcoholic beverage! The room itself exceeded my expectations, nice size, super clean and very classy/elegant. Loved the B&B feel and private entrance with parking directly outside our room. We were prepared to not have the greatest breakfast due to Covid precautions which I think is great.. however look forward to a nice hot breakfast during future stays. The grab and go breakfast was actually really good and not just your typical.. high quality.

Nice inn and located conveniently near downtown. I have to say though the rooms are a little cramped. The innkeepers and staff are nice though. The room was clean and quiet.
Not sure if we'll be back to stay at this inn but would definitely recommend if you're just passing through Calistoga and need a place to crash for the nice. Convenient parking right off the main road in its own lot.

My boyfriend booked a weekend here for my birthday so we could enjoy all the wine Napa has to offer.
We got at the property around 2pm, there was enough parking and the check in was very fast.
When we got to our room we were very disappointed, it was very very small, it barely fit a bed and an armchair, and it had a terrible smell. Within 10 min of us checking in, someone from maintenance knocked once and barged in to check on something. I don't know what he wanted to check cause he spoke no english and we got nowhere with our hand signs.
Internet was very spotty, or it was for us as

Fabulous little B&B style hotel very close and walkable to the main street of Calistoga. I enjoyed how clean, comfortable and stylish our room was. Even though we only had a basic queen room, our stay could not have been better as it included a lounge and patio and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud with soft sheets, down featherbed and comforter! I also appreciated the nice touches of high quality L'Occitane bath products and spa bathrobes. The breakfast spread was delicious - fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, avocado toast, delicious baked goods and hot items too like ham and

Came here for our anniversary last September. My sister in law gave us a gift certificate for a tour at Castello de Amorosa winery. The drive to the winery from the Bergeson is only about 5 minutes. The rooms are very nice. Ours had a fire place and a large jacuzzi tub. The rooms aren't laid out like a traditional hotel or motel. It looks like you're coming into a small condo complex or even a larger bed and breakfast.
It's also a very short walk around the corner from the downtown area. Really good when the weather is nice so you won't have to worry about parking.

Ants, mold and no bottled water. I was quite disappointed in the service and overall what you get for the amount of money you are charged. Our room had ants and mold in the bathroom. Mold around the sink. There was no bottled water in the rooms for guests (whether free or to buy). Moreover there was not a small store to buy incidental or drinks.lobby was nice with a huge fireplace.
With ants in the room I didn't want to eat their breakfast because I figured ants would be in other places throughout the hotel.
Fireplaces, although nice, doesn't heat the room.

Cute clean boutique hotel in a great location in Calistoga. My friend and I stayed here one night while we explored the area. We are both clean freaks and were very satisfied with our room. The bed was so comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. They offer a nice continental breakfast but we chose to walk to Bella Bakery instead - which I recommend as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We reserved the "Signature Queen" room. Our stay did not meet the expectations set by the hotel.
Cons: We had a much smaller/narrower room than we anticipated from the pictures. We were staring at a concrete wall 2 feet away from our only windows. Our courtyard off the back of our room was only about 3 feet x 3 feet surrounded by concrete walls, not sure what you would do back there. We had ants crawling on the walls in the bathroom. Shower was a pretty cheap plastic corner setup. No refrigerator. Dirty skylight.
Neutral/Expected: Our queen bed seemed decent. Gas fireplace did

Cute little cozy hotel with a country feel. It felt like a small little cottage home and the hospitality was great. Their continental breakfast could've been better but at least they had one (7:00am - 10:00am).
FYI- continental breakfast was pretty much (hard boiled eggs, fruits, coffee, pastries and one morning they had a quiche)
I really appreciated their premium toiletries especially the L'occitane lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was a great location in Calistoga right on the 29 hwy, which made it convenient going in and out and accessible to many great wineries such
