Dr. Stanley graduated from Brigham Young University in 2000 with a degree in Sociology and Chemistry. He then went on to graduate from the New York University School of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Stanley is skilled in all areas as a general dentist, but especially enjoys helping patients to achieve optimal oral health and creating beautiful smiles with Invisalign (certified Invisalign provider since 2005).

I have been going to see Dr Stanley since the office first opened. He took me from having ok dental health to excellent dental health. I won't go to anyone else! I moved away from San Tan Valley in September, but I still make the now 30 mile trip to see him. The staff is very friendly and they make you very comfortable!

I don't normally write reviews, but I had such a bad experience with Dr. Stanley that I need to get this off my chest. This dentist has zero compassion for his patients and is very arrogant. To not make this too long, I had a few fillings done and while the experience was not good (Dr. Stanley talking to the assistant about personal stuff and laughing while working on my teeth, not saying hi or bye to me or treating me like a person, and my anesthesia wearing off multiple times during my treatment with which he acted like I was bothering him when I mentioned this) the worst part came after

While they do great work, I think their customer service lacks a little bit. I went in today to have a crown put on. When they started the procedure, I told the dentist that I was having some sensitivity to the water that was being used in the surrounding area. The dentist became frustrated and then hastily said, "Well, it can't be the tooth that I'm working on because it has a root canal. It has to be this one (he ruded tapped the tooth in front of it) or it has to be this one (tapped the tooth behind it)." He was clearly annoyed that I spoke up and his response was condescending

I needed to have a crown replaced and a filling, so after checking out reviews for Ironwood Dental I scheduled an appointment. I was very impressed with the customer service I received on the phone, (Bev). When I met my dentist, Dr Dickson, I was immediately comfortable with my decision to try Ironwood Dental. I've been in a few times now and every experience has been positive. I've only seen the dentist once and he was great but I'm mostly impressed with the hygienists. They are always so kind and gentle, and they really make the extra effort to make sure I'm as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend this place.

So here's my back story. When I was a little kid I think my parents brought me to Dr. Kevorkian to have my teeth looked at. I've been deathly afraid of the dentist ever since.
At 31 years old I got to the point that I know my teeth are in horrible shape, bad enough that I hide my smile every day.
I've had dental insurance and the desire to get my smile back for years, I've just never had the guts to to the dentist. (For example, I've had an emergency root canal on thanksgiving day that could have been prevented)
I finally told myself that if I don't get my mouth

I went here after I had experienced severe tooth pain when my temp filling from a root canal started to fall out. My regular dentist was unavailable and I finally called this place and got an appointment right away on a Saturday! I was helped very quickly and the staff was very friendly and patient. I had TERRIBLE tooth and mouth pain that started on Thursday night (7/28/16). I didn't realize they closed so early on Fridays so when I finally had a chance to call, they were already gone for the weekend. They are open on certain Saturdays, but this Saturday was not one of them. The pain was so bad, I went to a local urgent care, and just by the swelling and heat in my face (fever) could tell there was an infection going on. Gave me some antibiotics and sent me on my way ( they are not a dental urgent care, so I was lucky to leave with that). After 1 1/2 days on the antibiotic, it was not

I LOVE this office! The staff are SUPER friendly and have been here a long time; indicating to me, that they must be good at their jobs and happy here.
My dental care is the best ever and the hygienists as well as the doctors (a new one named Dr. Proctor and the original, Dr. Stanley) are excellent. I have never been happier with a dentist office. My teeth are super important to me and to everyone here, as well.
They work well with insurance and seem to know it all. I have recommended this office to several others, including a $50 off first visit coupon.

I am calling BullSh#* on Jessica K's review. I have been to the office plenty times! I have waited there less than any other office, Dr. Stanley's prices are fair, they always check ahead of time on my insurance. In the end it is the patients responsibility to know their insurance. Ortho retainers are not cheap, why didn't Jessica go back to her Orthodontist?

I went in to see if they could order me a retainer. I had lost mine and they assured me that the dentist (not the ortho) could do it. They told me on the phone that they would check my insurance to see what they covered before I arrived. I made an appointment ahead of time and arrived at the office early. I had even printed out all the new patient forms to hand in so I had no paperwork to fill out in the office - I was prepared, they were not.
I waited in the waiting room for at least 10 minutes, and then an additional 10 minutes of waiting
