It is short for Functional Fitness of Temecula. Functional Fitness of Temecula is the most progressive training center in the valley. Functional Fitness is a system that incorporates functional body movements using body weight, resistance and instability. The foundation for Functional Fitness is simple to complex, stable to unstable and known to unknown.
This system provides the body and the muscles time to acclimate to exercises, without the risk of injury, no matter the level of fitness. Functional Fitness was born out of the passion and desire to help people make lifestyle changes, get off the couch and regain control of their life through fitness.

With more than 30 years experience in the fitness industry, I have seen firsthand the effects of the inactivity pandemic. It's not just children, it is people of all ages, backgrounds and socioeconomic levels. So what does one person do to inspire change in the nation? Start one person at a time in my hometown of Temecula, CA.
The Sanctuary is more than 2000 sq ft of FUNctional space where you can run, train, jump, and just about any other FUNctional movement you can think of. A sanctuary, in its original meaning, is a sacred place, such as a shrine. By the use of such places as a haven, by extension the term has come to be used for any place of safety.
If you're interested in intensifying you're fitness experience this is the place for you. David has the knowledge and tools to take your exercise regimen to the next level. Working with him took my fitness to a whole new level. I was faster, stronger, leaner, and it was all because of his motivation and expertise in the fitness world.

My first thought of driving to Temecula from Murrieta when there’ are 100s of other gyms around me was not ideal. But my first impression of David and the quality of his workouts made me stick around. David takes a personal interest in his clients although I would say his friends. He is a motivator. I like the personal trainer approach that he offers. Thank you David! Love, The Legend (as I’m now know as) but for all you my name is Luz Vargas.

I started going to FFT during my winter break and I can't wait to go back during summer break! The workouts pushed me farther than workouts at school did and when I came back to school, I noticed a big difference in my athletic abilities on the field. I only went for a month but when I first started I could only do 4 consecutive pull up (with band) but by the end of the month I was able to raise that to 13. I can't wait to see what other improvement I'll make during the upcoming months in The Sanctuary!

Great equipment....fun, energetic atmosphere. Just like most people, I think it can be a little intimidating to join a gym. David runs his classes with lots of positive motivation and encouragement. He truly cares about changing your mindset regarding health and fitness. The classes start and finish before you know it and I feel the best I have ever felt. I highly recommend FFT951
