My treatment approach is completely customized to you. No two people are alike, so no two treatment strategies are alike. I have focused my post-graduate learning in the modalities in which I was trained, and have used in practice for two decades. This makes for a deep knowledge of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, in the context of the breadth of modern research and medicine.
I want my patients to feel better, to reach their goals. I offer generous package discounts to help facilitate this. I do not accept and directly bill insurance. If you like, I can provide a receipt with the necessary codes for you to submit to your health insurance company for direct reimbursement.
No one likes getting shots or having blood drawn, me included. Acupuncture needles are extraordinarily thin, about 40 times more narrow than the needles used in a doctor's office, and the sensation of needle insertion is completely different. My technique is gentle. Sometimes, upon insertion, there is a minor sensation, that then quickly dissipates.
I help those trying to conceive naturally, as well as those using IVF and other assisted reproductive technology (ART). Some have diagnosed issues, while others do not. Some have just begun trying to conceive, or are planning to, while others are many years into the conception journey.

Having developed difficult chronic pain issues, I came to Kristi devoid of much experience with acupuncture but decided to try it out. After a few months, my pain has reduced significantly and my pain-induced anxiety has thankfully disappeared. Kristi is incredibly friendly, skilled, and refreshingly forthcoming. I'm very glad I decided to try acupuncture in conjunction with continuing physical therapy exercises.

I found Kristi after finding out I would have a hard time getting pregnant. At my first visit she was very open and listened intently to my history. She made me feel very comfortable and explained all that she would be doing for me. After my grim diagnosis from my regular Dr. we were both pleasantly surprised to learn I got pregnant after one full month of treatments! a year later we decided we try for baby #2 and once again, were able to get pregnant after one month of treatment! I highly recommend Kristi for her compassion, professionalism and most of all her knowledge in acupuncture.

Kristi was so wonderful to work with! She really felt like a team member (and sometimes leader) along a somewhat painful and often confusing time trying to conceive. She was knowledgeable and non-judgemental, letting me lead the way and working seamlessly with me to combine Western and Eastern medicine.
