Strafford Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve the Strafford, MO area for everything pet-related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Kenneth Mallard, who is a licensed, experienced Strafford veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Strafford Veterinary Clinic is a small animal veterinary practice, comprised of dedicated and compassionate staff, who have committed themselves to providing optimum care to your pets. A huge part of this commitment is to remain on the leading edge in medical, laboratory, surgical and reproductive services.
Our practice focus is on the care of dogs and cats. We have been known from time to time to see a few rabbits from the local 4-H club. Our practice is well equipped to include: Digital Ultrasound, Digital Radiography (X-ray), Surgical Laser, Patient Monitors (surgery), "In house" Lab Machines, and Vet scope systems for our exam rooms.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately.
Hannah has literally grown up at the clinic because she is one of three children of Dr. Mallard and Erin. She began her career here as a four-year-old, helping with new-born puppies on occasion. She is known at the clinic as "the cat whisperer" because, on more than one occasion, she has been able to get a sick kitty to eat when no one else could.

Dr. Mallard and Senior Technician Jena Wells have been caring for all of my pets over the last 25 years. I really can't say enough good things about them and and everyone else at Strafford Vet Clinic! They have always been so caring and compassionate and have provided excellent care for all my furbabies. My rescue Mooch is not very trusting of people, but he trusts the people there! He knows they only want to take care of him. I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. 😊
