Visit Galloway Village Veterinary to see why our Springfield, MO veterinary hospital has been voted Best of 417 for the past 6 years! The best veterinary care for animals is ongoing nutrition and problem prevention, so becoming knowledgeable about preventative pet care is essential to your pet's health.

Please visit our Blog for important tips, advice, and videos on how to give your pets the care they deserve! We are open and working hard to stay open for you. However, our new safety procedures require a little extra time for appointments, so we appreciate your patience while we navigate a new way to provide services.
Services
Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. The veterinarians and staff at our hospital are ready to provide your pet with excellent care. From wellness exams and vaccines to complex surgical procedures, your dog, cat, or pocket pets will receive the best possible care at Galloway Village Veterinary.
Your pet's behavior affects every interaction you have with him or her on a daily basis. Behavior dictates everything from mealtime, to exercise time, to downtime such as relaxing on the couch with other family members. When a pet has a behavior problem, the consequences are far-reaching. Behavior problems threaten the bond you have with your pet by damaging the loving relationship that should exist between you.
Blood transfusion (including transfusion of blood products, like plasma) is a critically important service that can mean the difference between life and death for veterinary patients. In our continuing efforts to offer the highest quality medicine to all of our patients, we are pleased to offer blood transfusion services supervised by our expert health care team.
It is estimated that up to 85% of our pets suffer from dental disease. At Galloway Village Veterinary, we recognize that dental disease can lead to problems in the rest of the body. Reducing tartar and plaque reduces a reservoir of bacteria that is otherwise circulated to vital organs in the body, including the heart, liver, and kidneys.
Emergencies, accidents, and illnesses are unfortunate facts of life, but how many of us plan for the unthinkable before it happens? What would you do if your pet were suddenly sick or injured? Do you have a plan? Do you know where to go for help if your pet needed critical care or had to be hospitalized?

Happy Holidays I wanted to take a moment and thank Galloway Village veterinary taking care of our dog Nina. Our experience was great and photos of her trail walks were much appreciated. We would use them again for sure. Thanks again Bob

The vets and techs are wonderful. They let us bring our other dog, even though she wasn't being looked at, but suffers from separation anxiety. Explanation of diagnosis was clear and prices are reasonable. We'll definitely keep coming back.

After years of really bad experiences with vets and harm to my pets, it is very comforting to finally find a place of quality practitioners I can trust to be exceptional in knowledge, skill, compassion, and expertise for my pets when their needs are beyond what I can offer them. Thank you for your Standards of Excellence we can all put our trust in!

I will always make the drive and bring my pets to this vet clinic from now on. After my local vet did the bare minimum I was referred here. They went above and beyond to try and help my pet! They are kind and I got phone calls straight from the doctor to update me every step of the way. In the end my dog was too sick to be saved and they sent me flowers and a card! I highly recommended this clinic.

Absolutely fabulous facility! The staff was so great and kind. Dr. Lee was super thorough and compassionate with my cocker spaniel, Salem. They did an amazing job grooming her as well. Can't say enough positives about this place! We will be using them for all of our veterinary needs from now on.

Hands down - the best vet experience I've had. Super friendly staff, techs, and doctor! Was able to be seen the same day for an appt, which is almost unheard of. They explained everything, quoted and estimated the cost of the procedures and options. It's hard to describe in words, but as a person with anxiety I often times do not feel comfortable in these situations, and I can say that this was the most comfortable I have ever felt going to a vet. 100% will be going back in the future for any animal care needs that come up.

The staff was very professional and got us in right away when our vet couldn’t. The vet gave me enough information about what was going on with my dog so that I knew what to look for and how to help. So glad they took her in and gave her the care she needed! Will most likely be bringing both of our dogs here.

Worst vet experience ever, i called at 8:21 am on Monday morning to confirm my cat (Luna)’s appointment at 9. They confirmed the appointment and upon getting there i called to let them know i was there. It took them 25 minutes of call transferring and holding to finally get someone to take my cat. I was late to work because of the… miscommunications. Once i got off i found out they had scheduled the appointment to close to a previous appointment i had the week before so the antibiotic shot she had received the week before would offset any vaccinations she was set to get during her

Galloway's vet Staff and physicians have been the best! Always nice and so caring to my 2 cats! Even with just doing nail trims they are polite. AND with curb side service because of COVID I don't worry about having them come and get my pets. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Galloway!
