The team at CF&I are experts at removing carpet or resilient materials while the space is still occupied. We have the tools and systems to perform an occupied lift, all while you continue to do business as usual. We coordinate schedules with your facility manager or general contractor and assist in communication with your employees the plans and process to prepare for new flooring.
In addition to the typical water extraction method utilized in the industry we can also offer a low moisture alternative to the disruptive, inefficient and potentially sticky residue cleaning systems commonly used to clean commercial carpet. The process prevents the build up of residues and soil, protecting the color and appearance of your carpet.

We understand the various processes for reclaiming product based on its economical and environmental impact and recommend the most effective and sustainable process for reclaiming your material - i.e. recycling, down-cycling or repurposing.Moisture mitigation is key in medical environments. Putting flooring materials on top of concrete without consideration of moisture will undoubtedly end up costing you more in the end.

The first time the floor in my business was laid, the CF&I installer put it on the wrong underlayment, causing the warrantee to be void. There are 2 drains in this room, and no sealing was done around the drains so water could go right into the underlayment. In addition, the cut in the floor for the drains could have been done better by a kindergartner with scissors -- looked terrible. Finally, the contract with CF&I and the contractor states that there would be rubber base installed . Not only was it not installed (never communicated to the installer) but the floor was not sealed against the wall
