Dales Auto Repair is a family business with a longstanding history in St. Michael, Minnesota. Some of you may remember when we started in 1972 with a two-pump gas station and repair shop in back room. Not everyone gets the chance to serve families through the generations, but we've been fortunate to have that opportunity.

I cannot say enough about Dale's Auto! They are the only ones we use. Their workmanship, timeliness, and communication is excellent. They fix everything that needs to be fixed with precision and charge incredibly affordable rates. They make you aware of other items that may need attention in the future but do not upsell you on repairs that can wait until a later date. If you want to get a great repair job at an affordable price from mechanics you can trust 110%, Dale's Auto is the place to go!!

Dale’s is one of the best shops around, I drive my vehicles across the cities to get their service. They are very thorough and will keep you up to date with every piece of information they have. Service is always fast even when I have had to have vehicles towed in the middle of the night. Dale’s is the repair shop I suggest to all of my friends and family and I do not see this changing anytime soon!

I debated reviewing Dale's for awhile now. If you are like me, you were taught that you don't give away your fishing holes.
At the risk of having to wait longer or pay more the next time I need Neil's help, he has more than earned a positive review.
If you are reading this, you are probably like me and are sick of paying $30+ for shop supplies and $80+ for a diagnostic fee just to replace a switch for your window (yeah I'm talking to you Morries). Being over 40, I have always heard of small shops that do amazing work and charge a fair price, but I have never found one and was beginning to believe

When my dealership told me it would be 2 & 1/2 weeks before they could change my headlight, I decided to call Dale’s. They are down the street from me and have done good work in the past on my cars. When I called at 7 am, they told me to bring it over any time. I drive over, but said I would need my car back by 10. They called me before 9–an hour earlier than I needed—and were $15-$20 cheaper than my dealership would have charged. The people I dealt with on the phone and at the shop were extremely courteous. I definitely will be going back, and highly recommend Dale’s to others.

10 stars. Tom and the guys at Dale's are great. I had my 2011 Lincoln in for a brake job. Turns out the power brake boost was leaking. Tom researched Ford's extended warranty program and told me this repair would be covered by Ford, but he couldn't do the repair. He looked out for me as his customer when he knew it would likely cost him this repair job! Thank you for your honesty and integrity Tom! Customer first! I will be a loyal Dale's Auto customer for life!

Exceptional service... I went in with very little time to spare. They ordered my emergency parts within minutes.. They didn’t have any openings but accommodated my needs regardless and I was out within a few short hours. Awesome place to go to and I was blown away by the customer service. Would recommend to anyone.
