In my opinion this is the best auto mechanics in Northern Central MN. Brooke and the reception team are superb at their customer service skills. Quick and reasonable when it comes to repairs and estimates. Scott is extremely attentive in making sure all of his clients are taken care of and is more than flexible to their needs. Do not confuse these guys with the jokers at Monticello Auto Inc. MONTICELLO AUTO SERVICE is the way to go if your in the area and are in need of repairs.

My family was traveling over the holidays when we experienced some serious handling issues. Road conditions were poor, but I was concerned there was a mechanical issue. We brought the vehicle to Monticello Auto Service for an inspection before continuing our drive. The staff were very friendly and the lobby was comfortable and clean. After an inspection, we were advised of a few non-critical services that were recommended in the near future and were back on our way. If I lived locally, this would be my shop.

Excellent customer service. Quick and fair pricing as well. We blew a tire on the interstate on a Sunday, had it towed to Monticello Auto Service and they replaced the tire and hoist for us quickly. Working on a 51 project pickup and needed new bearings pressed onto the rear axles. I had been 0 for 4 when calling around to local shops until I called Monticello Auto Service. They were helpful and more than willing to do it. They got them done quick and cleaned up the old axles as well. Grateful for their help and service which now allows me to continue moving forward on my Grandfathers pickup.

I was super disappointed when we took a car in because it was overheating. They quoted me for a cooling fan and a tie rod. I declined the tie rod as that had nothing to do with overheating. They do the work on the fan but the car is still overheating. So then they want to replace the thermostat, another $350 on top of the $700 for the fan. I declined further service. On the drive home the car was overheating even worse than before the fan was replacement. The moral of the story is be prepared to pay for the most expensive "might fix it diagnosis" and then be asked to pay more to actually fix the

Ive been a customer for Monticello Automotive for about 2 years. These guys are real "car guys". Scott is always fun to work with. He will have a conversation with you instead of pushing you out the door. They will even bring you back to the garage to show you any problems or recommendations. The waiting area is clean and offers free coffee. I would recommend them for all your auto service needs. They also love to work on classic cars like my old Corvette.

When I got my car back it not only sounded brand new but they had taken the time to wash the car, wheels and tires to surprise me. It was very kind and I will never forget that. Thanks guys for going above and beyond by really caring. It is extremely difficult to find an honest mechanic nowadays. At Monticello Auto Service they are very honest. Did great work!
