I have been going to Peter here for as long as the salon has been open! He does such an amazing job with my hair I only need to go 2-3 times a year. The staff,atmosphere and attention to detail is amazing along with a great cut and color!

Courtney does an amazing job cutting wavy/curly hair so it can curl better ok it's own. She (and Anthony who assists her) made sure to explain all the steps so I could replicate the style from home. I didn't even know my hair could be that curly on it's own. They're both really nice and very skilled. She's the only person who cuts my hair. I had been having them remove weight from my hair which left a shelf like look from the back (which I didn't even know was happening.) Now my hair is still thinned out and curls much better.

I love this place! I recently moved out of state and I will probably drive in to continue to have my hair cut by Roman. I have had my hair cut and colored by Roman- always great. My daughters’ have had cut by other team members and had a deva cut.
So pleased they wear masks and offer disposable masks during cut and colors!

I spent years getting typical salon cuts and being disappointed with the lack of volume & definition. I have wavy hair, so I decided to book a curly cut at P.La Salon to see if my results would be any better.
The visit was just as much a discussion of products and styling techniques that are best for my hair type as it was a haircut.
Everyone I met was friendly & professional. The hair sinks were so comfortable, too, that it's worth mentioning here.

I am so pleasantly surprised how safe I felt getting a haircut during the pandemic because of P.La! My stylist, Stephen C., did such an amazing job. He listened to my concerns about not having my hair cut in almost a year. He made my hair look so healthy and bouncy and happy. A little on the pricey end but we'll worth it for the physical safety I felt and the miraculous job they did on my hair. Also, parking is a breeze since they have their own parking lot. And it was easy to book an appointment!

I was very excited to make an appointment with a devacurl specialist. The stylist was booked and I had to make an appointment a month and a half in advance. I was charged a $30 deposit to hold my appointment. I received a confirmation call 24 hours before my appointment (which was booked incorrectly). This is truly thee best salon you're going to find. To anyone complaining about their prices, you get what you pay for!!! This was my first time getting a Deva Cut and my experience was great! Courtney was very professional and informative. She gave me the tools needed to style at home and begin training my curls. I will be returning in four months to take more off. But I am extremely happy to continue my natural hair journey with Courtney.

I booked an appointment with Allie out of sheer convenience, the salon is close to my home and she was available. I couldn't have been happier with her talent, professionalism, and friendliness. Allie's cut/color is one of the best I have ever received.

I'm a curly girl so I'm always looking for a Devacurl certified stylist. I was so excited that Courtney is the one! Once she found out I'm knowledge about the subject matter, she said the price will be lower - $80 for the cut (instead of $120 or 130). Already big points on being understanding, but Courtney turned out to be an extremely talented human being and stylist. I've been getting Devacurl haircuts for 5+ years now and she is the best one I found so far. Highly recommended (even if it means it will be harder to make an appointment with her! LoL)

I had my second visit with Courtney over at P.La salon. This was for the Pantene cut for charity. After my first visit with Courtney, I figured she would want to see my hair in the shortened, unweighted condition, instead of having the 2lbs of hair pulling the curls down while they dried. I called and suggested that I come in with it pre-cut, she knew I knew what I was doing and agreed that it would be a good idea.

There is a HUGE difference between me knowing what needs to be done and communicating what needs to be done and the person actually using the scissors (my best friend at work).

I looked specifically for a DevaCurl stylist and found that Courtney at P.La is a certified curly hair stylist. I waited a couple weeks for my appointment with Courtney and it was worth the wait! Courtney is kind and experienced and made my time in the salon super fun and enjoyable. She taught me how to care for my curls, and cut my hair to match the style I described to her. This is the best haircut I've ever had, and I will be coming back for all of my haircuts in the future!

P. La is the only salon I wholeheartedly trust with my hair. The stylists are all extremely talented and do an amazing job with highlights, cuts, and styling. The front staff are kind and courteous, and do their best to accommodate clients' schedules. After moving out of state I went to a highly regarded salon and ended up with damaged, over processed hair and one of the worst hair cuts I've ever had. Listen. I am a hair stylist snob. I used to drive to Windsor just to get a haircut. It is so nice to know that such a wonderful, nice salon is so close to my home.

The Salon is so cute and chic. It almost feels like you are in some sort of NYC loft space. Oh..did I mention the shampoo bowls basically roll out like a bed and there is a TV for you to watch while you are getting washed out. Oh how I love my shampoo with a side of "Fixer Upper".

Best place in Metro Detroit for a haircut. Chelsea and Peter have been cutting my hair for 4 years. They are incredible and $35 + $10 tip for a men's haircut is great. Love that you can have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee whilst you wait. Call there and book your appt today! You will be happy you did.

I had my hair done here about a month ago. I purposely scheduled a consultation because I wanted to MAKE SURE what I wanted could be possible. I am also licensed and I was referred here considering my specialty is nails and not hair. I showed pictures of what I wanted and it was made clear that it can be done.

All of the signs were clear that the stylist didn't know what they were doing. It's pretty bad when other stylists go behind their back and whisper because they know the stylist just made mistakes. I wanted something close to an ombre (like what is shown)
