I have been going to Mandi for over 7 years and seriously could not imagine ever going to anyone else. My whole life I bounced around from stylist to stylist until Mandi started doing my hair. She seriously goes above and beyond for her clients. From scheduling to treatments, and everywhere in between, Mandi always puts her clients first and maintains my hair health and integrity.
Why I love her most is she'll never let me do an unnecessary treatment or buy an unnecessary product. She truly does care about her clients. She is the hardest working person I have ever met. She is always taking a class to keep up with the latest styles and finds a way to fit me in when her schedule is already booked.

Your appointments are very important to the Base team members at Base Hair Studio, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.

Mandi does amazing color and cutS! I travel all the way from a neighboring city that has tons of salons to come to her. She is efficient at her skill and does it well. Krystina and Bethany are great assistants and stylists and very friendly and accommodating. Mandi’s work speaks for itself, check her out on Instagram.

I was introduced to Base Hair Studio by their assistant, Bethany. I had experienced a disappointing hair coloring at another salon and needed help. On my first visit to Base Hair Studio Khrystyna corrected the problem. With my second appointment, Khrystyna fine tuned my hair color and suggested a new cut. I am confidently looking forward to my next visit and to a relaxing shampoo by Bethany. I should also mention that Mandi, the very busy owner of Base took the time to choose hair products for me…products that are making a difference with my thin hair. Way to go Ladies!!

I have been coming by Mandi for so many years she is TRULY AMAZING!!!!! Before her my hair was so unhealthy and brassy looking. Now it’s a lot healthier and blonde thanks to her. Everywhere I go I get compliments about my hair and most of them switch their hairstylist to come here. Even if Mandi Moved a hour away I would follow her. Thank you Mandi for always doing such a great job and having the best customer service!!!!!

I have been seeing Khrystyna since February of 2020 for highlights. This is the first time I've gone lighter with my hair and I am so thankful she is the one to do it. She makes me feel safe, comfortable, explains the entire process, answers all of the questions I have, and recommends the perfect products to keep my hair safe while we are in between sessions. The salon is very clean, vibrant, and easy to access with a parking garage just down the street (first 2 hours FREE). I highly recommend for anyone to check out Base Hair studio and see Khrystyna for all your hair needs!

Shina is a blonde hair QUEEN! She pays close attention to detail which is why I still get compliments on my hair almost 3 months after she colors it. I am a solid natural brown (as seen in picture with brown hair) and with time, proper care and shina's magic, I am the blonde I have always wished of (as seen in blonde pictures). I will never trust anyone with my hair other than her, she makes the hour drive so worth it!

I have always wanted to transition towards a bolder blonde balayage, but no one could ever quite execute it exactly how I wanted. Mandi was referred to me from a friend, and since my first appointment with her a couple years ago she has always exceeded all my expectations! Now each time I go, I fully trust her to do whatever she thinks will look best! Mandi and Khrystyna are so kind and welcoming and both excellent in what they do. The salon is super cute and clean, and the service has always been excellent. Worth every penny! I would definitely recommend!

I could say so many great things about BASE but one thing I can say for sure is that Mandi & Allie are the ONLY people I will ever allow to touch my hair. I trust them with their very careful process of making sure I am not damaging my hair through how blond I keep asking for them to make me and they take their time to make sure that their clients are not only happy and satisfied with their hair but RAVING about their results. Khrystyna's eyelash extensions are such an amazing addition to BASE hair studio bringing natural lashes to great lengths - one thing I cannot stand at regular salons

I have gone to Allie 2 times for cut and color and I am hooked! She has taken my hair to the next level. She went above and beyond to make my hair lighter and brighter to give me the look I wanted from previously dyed hair. I am planning to get back in to see her in the next couple weeks before I head back to school! I live in Chicago and come to see her when I get a chance!!

Base Hair Studio is a refreshing change from the busy large salon scene. Such a beautiful, clean, and intimate space. I had great hair care from Mandi and Allie (as always) and was so impressed with the studio they've created. I came to my appointment from a busy day of work and was able to relax and enjoy my experience in a calm atmosphere.
I have been seeing Mandi since 2014 and was lucky enough to have her and Allie style myself and my bridemaids for my wedding. I cannot rave enough about their amazing work!
