Veterinary Doctor Naum Polonsky is the owner and director of Animal Hospital of Perth Amboy. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and licensed to practice veterinary medicine in New York State and New Jersey. Critical: Professionalism, Reliability
Made an appointment for my kitten to get vaccinated and checked out. I arrived to my appointment on time and was told that the vet hadn’t arrived yet. I waited for over an hour and the front desk just kept telling me that the vet was on their way. The vet didn’t show up so I left after waiting over an hour. So frustrating.

I was able to get my kitten in the same day i called. The staff is very professional & Dr is phenomenal ,he took his time examining my kitten and suggested blood testing. I still have to drop off my kittens stool sample but in 2 days i got my results. Sad to know my kitten is very sick but im grateful to find this place

Despite being very busy, they took their time went above and beyond to help me with my cat. Staff was very friendly and answered all the questions providing me clear guidance on how to take care of my cat post visit. Not to mention how impressed I was with that facility and turn around time on all testing since they have a lot of equipment on premises

I cannot complain every time I take my cane corse to this place I leave satisfied. I am more than grateful because when I had my smallest puppy she was very sick and this Dr. healed me. 2 weeks ago I took the dog with the cheeks and jaw well infected and the Dr gave him antibiotics and a liquid to wash it and in 2 days he had already seen results. I think it is the cheapest place I have visited. I had the experience with Banfiel for 8 years and it was the worst experience I had so bad that I had to put the pitbull to sleep. So I have nothing to say about this place. I can only say thank you thanks

I have my cat for 3 years already and couldn't find any professional or human being doctors in entire NY,was very surprised today , when we are finally found, what we was looking for.All exam's in one place, very professional and kind staff, really appreciate them hard and good job,thank you guys one more time, hopefully no need to come back to you,but see you, when we going to come for a grooming.

My dog was diagnosed with Open Pyometra and required Emergency surgery due to severe condition of it and my regular Vet referred her to get surgery immediately. He suggested to take her to an “Emergency Animal hospital” which couldn’t due surgery until the next day and charge me almost $5,000. Keep in mind it was urgent! I called the Animal Hospital of Perth Amboy and the receptionists were very pleasant and understanding. They put the doctor on the phone and he gladly took my dog for surgery. This was about 5 pm when I brought my dog to the office after being charge $215 in the “Emergency

I absolutely loved this place ! Took my cat for neutering , and I was totally satisfied with the service I had . The staff was amazing ! They did not only take care of my cat with love , but they also treated me as a parent with respect ! The nurse Christine was very nice , and she gave personal suggestions !!! Dr. P., Adrianna and Eli were so absolutely amazing. I walked in very nervous with my cat babies but they made me feel at ease, were attentive and so kind. They really do care about your animals. I have been involved with rescue work, having my own pets, etc. and I have been to so many vets. I traveled from Staten Island to get there. I will also have my mother bring her cat from Brooklyn because this office is very fair, and they are super compassionate. I wish I had found them sooner. I almost don’t want to write a review so it’s not packed when I do go lol. The best vet ever!!!! Thank you

This is a brand new facility opened by our veterinarian. Our dog, River, first met Dr. Polonsky at our house for a home visit when we first adopted her. Now she looks forward to every visit. He's very good with her. We are frequent fliers due to River's allergies. We have called and emailed for urgent care for her shenanigans at all hours and have always received a prompt response.
