I have been taking boxing classes with Andrew for about three years. I try to get to the gym 5-6 days a week, mostly taking a variety of classes. Andrew's class is by far my favorite. His class is both a physical workout and a mental challenge. He has taught me to love the sport of boxing and appreciate how the skills can be applied to life outside the gym. Andrew is great at judging the skill levels of the people in his classes and catering the workout so that everyone is confident in what they are doing, but still pushing themselves beyond what is comfortable. I would recommend this

I've been involved with various martial arts for years - Wrestling, Muay Thai, BJJ, and Judo, and have been taking boxing classes with Andrew Woods for about a year.
Andrew is an amazing trainer and I highly recommend him. Unlike some "boxing" trainers who are only using boxing as a fitness gimmick and don't have real in-ring experience, Woods is the real deal, has impeccable technique and trains everyone from top contenders to NFL players, to people just looking to get in amazing shape while learning a useful skill to improve their confidence.
What really sets Andrew apart

My wife and I met Andrew, the owner of Training Wheels when he was running a class at a fitness club in the South Bay. His approach to boxing and fitness in general is to have, fun, learn and continually challenge yourself.
Being new to boxing we asked if he would do 1 off session to show us correct for, he has been training us ever since. Not only did he get us eating right, he also got us thinking right.
He comes to our home a couple of times a month and keeps us motivated. The amazing thing he is not like other trainers who stand there and count off the reps or time, he is doing it right
