She is vey unprofessional. She can’t changing statements on what she can and cannot do. She took up two people’s appointments for a time slot and then one of us ended up not having our hair done because she did not plan her time well. And the result for that own individual that did get her hair done was not satisfied with the results.

She is nice but does not listen to what you are asking for . I wanted my color to be medium brown like the photo I showed her, she colored my hair black although I specifically told her several times that I did not want my hair black. She asked for an extra $30 because I have a groupon and she said that she would be using more product. Fine. No pb but coloring it black despite what I asked for. Unacceptable. Went for a haircut and root touch up. I asked for a very specific cut - long layers into a V. I showed her multiple pictures of exactly what i wanted. She just cut about 4 inches off total with a few long layers but the ends are straight across and don't have the V shape at all. I even told her half way through that it wasn't V'd enough. She did a few more layers then told me that it'll be a V when it dries. It isnt V'd at all. It's just short. Also, this is a very extreme amount of hair color to leave on my forehead. Just as a warning... never ever go to Mariam through Groupon anything.
Had the worst wash and blow dry.
She claims I was 1 hour early.
Right from the start, she had attitude saying I was 1 hour early. I specifically told her on the phone earliest the better. Obviously she lied..
Obviously when I informed her of her Groupon offer, her attitude changed..
Even with a do-over I would never go to her again...
She had a lousy attitude wasn't open minded about what kind of products or tools I've used. Didn't want to be told what kind of tools to use, she just wanted to use her tools.

I got my hair cut and dyed black here (trying to cover my grey), which I really liked. I also liked how she has a private studio. She was very nice to me while doing my hair. However, I happened to take a close look at my scalp a couple weeks later and soooo much grey was showing. Not the roots, but the long strands I had. I was on vacation when I noticed, and after returning to the US 3 weeks after coloring it, I called her to question why my grey was back (color faded that fast??) and she said that is normal and she only guarantees her work for one week. Oh My Gosh! I have always had to have a good men's cut for work. M is amazing and does more than cut your hair, she just really cares, takes her time and a perfectionist. I have tried many other men's haircut places in Toaks and none compares . She has her own place so you don't have to sit next to another guy and hear about his son being student of the month.

Went in first time with a Groupon with the express intention to get rid of my gray hairs. I pointed them out and mentioned them several times . First, this chic pulled a super shady upcharge on my groupon. I saw some others also got the same $25 dollar "longer hair" color charge on top of the $40 groupon that offered the cut, color and condition. It was not on the groupon. I also told her at the start I didn't need a style but she ignored it and blew dry my hair for a good 20 minutes after I sweat for 35 mins in the hair dye heater. Too much. Miriam is very nice and clearly very capable, but I wouldn't recommend going in on a groupon. I was surprised she wanted to charge an extra $25 for all over color for hair length (my hair is shoulder length). She ended up just doing a root touch up instead and the color came out just ok. The included conditioning wasn't anything more than the usual products. The styling was not good; my hair looked crazy from a short blow dry and she wanted to send me out! I asked her to do more and she did but when I suggested she use the flat iron for frizz, that would also be an extra charge.

Miriam is the best! I'm very picky about who cuts my hair and she's a pro. Very responsive when I need to set an appointment and strives to make sure that I'm totally satisfied with her work. She also cuts my 7-year-old's hair and does a great job. I highly recommend her if you want a great stylist who gives personalized service at a fair price.

I'm so happy I stumbled into Sola Salon and found Miriam at M's Cuts. I was in dire need of color and conditioning and while I was there I decided to add some highlights. Miriam did a fantastic job and best of all she was reasonably priced. I found my new go to place for color, cut and highlights. Thank you Miriam for doing such a nice job!
