Services
Our industry has long struggled with the historic gap in wages between our Front of House Staff and our Back of House Staff. A Tavola will therefore apply a 3% Kitchen Administration Fee to all checks. We are happy to remove the charge if you so like. Our current wine list features labels 100% from Italy. The majority of the list consists of wines coming from all over Italy with a major focus on the regions of the peninsula to fit the cuisine style of A Tavola, alongside with some of the most important and historic wine regions of the country.
These wines are made from indigenous varietals and they are characteristic of the place, the terroir, the climate and the wine laws of where they come from.

We offer our space for private parties as well as take away catering for simple and elegant entertaining. A Tavola is available for large group dinners. Large parties of 9 - 25 are seated in our dining room. Though not a completely private space, we can try for a quieter and more intimate environment for a special event, while still maintaining A Tavola's unique energy and aesthetic.
As all of us at A Tavola take a break for a day to spend with our families to give thanks, we want to make sure you are well taken care of. So we are offering our favorite table offerings to you to enjoy with your family. Toasty aromas of roasted almond, freshly baked bread and yellow fruit. The wine is creamy and smooth with a touch of citrus freshness on the palette.
You spoke they listened! A Tavola was named by Boston Common Magazine as one of the Best Italian Restaurants in Boston. We tend to agree! Owner and Chef Joe Carli's ragu bolognese has been an enormous favorite of his guests since he put it on the menu. Slightly altered to his own taste, the always fresh and consistent ragu is topped with tender beef, pork and veal.

I was really hoping to not write a negative review, but really wanted to provide the feedback in person instead. Given that the manager, nor the chef made an appearance at the table after we explained what was wrong to the waiter, I am left with no other option but to write this review.
There was six of us there for dinner tonight. Two ordered the pork chop that was severely undercooked. Two ordered the pasta carbonara. The black pepper in the carbonara was overwhelming to the point that it was the only thing you could taste. It's hard to mess up a carbonara. Lastly, thebolognese was stale. Something

We have been here several times, either privately as a couple or through a business dinner, each time the meals are beyond excellent and fresh. No disappointments as you sometimes have at restaurants where the appetizers are great, but entrees are "ok", at A Tavola it is all excellent. Probably driven by a medium sized menu that allows all ingredients to be super fresh. And if there is something that's not on the menu, for example ensuring a dish is kosher (as much as possible), that's an option that gets catered on the fly. Service is on point as well, never have to wait for service and ambience

Went to dinner here last night for Restaurant Week/Dine Out Boston. First time there and we loved the atmosphere and they offered their complete menu to chose from for $38.00 (there were a few items with an up… charge but well worth it to have your choice of anything on the menu). We shared the Antipasti and cheese board for appetizer and it was excellent. Their bread was delicious and warm. Our dinner selections were also excellent. 3 of us got one of the specials they were offering which was spinach cavatelli with eggplant and 2 of us got the Bigoli which is thick spaghetti, prosciutto
