Would have rated zero if I could. Their food is usually so so but this time around it was practically un-eddible. The mozzarella sticks were burnt, the steak tasted old and over cooked, and the Meatballs and sauce tasted very old and I can't even begin to describe the gross taste that I couldn't get past after 3 bites. We tossed majority of the food. Feel like I just wasted $33 bucks and now I'm making Ramen instead 🤦♂️

August 27, 2021 - grease soaked mess. We ordered 2 steak and cheese subs tonight. Upon sitting down to eat each of us could tell immediately that grease not only soaked the sub rolls to the point it was clearly noticeable when attempting to pick it up, but it soaked to the point I’d say it was inedible..nasty and Waste of money. We were frequent customers living close by, but the more hit or miss the food became the less and less we’ve ordered here. I hate to be so negative but it’s just the story here, they are always pleasant though.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I'll begin by saying that the staff was extremely nice on the phone and when I picked up the order, but that is literally all I can say that is nice about their food.
We ordered 5 items: 2 separate pizzas, a tuna sandwich with onions, a veal cutlet sandwich, and a lobster roll. The two pizzas were flavorless and rubbery, but they were probably the best of the food. My wife's lobster roll looked like canned crab instead of lobster, smelled bad, and had a person's hair in her sandwich. Also, the onion rings that accompanied it were burnt

I had Giovannis's cater my daughters birthday party. I, and all the guests were impressed with the food. I requested it to be here at 4:30 and they were here on the dot. Everything was nice and hot. They sent the salad with the onions on the side, and plenty of dressings. The chicken wings came with a variety of sauces on the side, but all my guests wanted them plain. All the calzones and different pizzas were great. Will definitely be using Giovannis in the future.

What happened to this place? Awful! My family has been ordering here for years but last 3 orders I felt like I was being punked, pizza is like cardboard and last 2 orders were wrong. My sons roastbeef sub they forgot the mayo and pickles it was dry and tough. 3 strikes your OUT, call it quits Giovannis, whoever is cooking and running the show now needs alot of help.

The best Steak and Chix tips. Well we were dining another customer stood up marched right to the front. I thought something was wrong, definitely not...This man starting raving and complemented the chef. Saying "the best ever" and soforth. WoW Grand Slam tips cooked to perfection Everytime! Definitely a must try! The atmosphere is nice too. Definitely my go to place from now on!

I see on the menu "cheese steak $7.95". I order it and the person on the counter asks if I want steak and cheese which seems like a weird question since I ordered a cheese steak. I agree and the tab comes to $8.98. Since I was puzzled about how we got from $7.95 to $8.98 I asked why it ended up being $8.98. I bet you guessed it already, they charged me .50 cents for the cheese in a cheese steak!
The food here is standard deli fare. The service tends to be slow

This place has good subs especially their cheesesteak. Everything on the menu is pretty good and it's not gonna knock your socks off but it's still good food. The cooks are very hard-working and the staff is very nice. I feel like in the past there's been some bad reviews about the staff, but I have been coming here for years and have never had a negative experience with them. They are always very nice.

A REAL struggle to get a Chicken salad wrap, After waiting about 30 minutes for some one to scoop pre-made chicken salad onto a wrap and roll it up, I asked what was taking so long. I was handed a Hot sub of some sort and told this was it. I said is this chicken salad on a wrap, and she answered yes. When I was skeptical and opened it, found a hot grilled chicken kabob. I returned it, and explained I ordered a cold chicken salad WRAP. Just walked out of there and was a little disappointed. I've been going to this place for years. Love the chicken kabob salad. The young girl behind the counter took a transaction with gloves on and went back to making a sandwich. When I said something, she seemed confused.
When I was leaving and tried to mention it again, she was annoyed. I told her I know the owner (which I do from going there for years) she still didn't care. The place was a mess. Food all over the floor. I hope this isn't the future of this place. If it is, I wouldn't go back.

We catered food for a family event, and it was delicious. We had chicken, steak tips and sausages for meats; veggies, rice and potato. The entire order was so good, our guests were extremely pleased and went back at least thrice for more. Staff was wonderful and super professional as well! Highly recommend Giovanni's!!
