We specializes in catering office lunches, birthdays, fundraisers, corporate events and social celebrations of any kind. Great and flavorful food, I like the ambience this spot has, and the cashiers were friendly. Will definitely come back again. Great value for money in the area, a really home cooked meal feel to the place and really great taste.
Will come back again.

Came here for lunch on a saturday, and the place was almost entirely empty, so we were seated quickly. one of the things i appreciated most about sf was the fact that nearly every restaurant i dined at required proof of vaccination to sit indoors. chaat corner asked whether we were vaccinated, but didn't ask to see our vaccine cards or verify our answer in any way - we easily could have lied, and so could anyone else, which didn't make me feel as safe as i did eating inside elsewhere in the city.

We love the food over here.. We ordered chhole bhature, thali(contained paneer gravy, gobhi aloo sabji, dal, rice, roti, pickle & raita) and Mango Lassi.. Everything was perfect.. They have variety of food options.. Do check it out if you want to taste some authentic Indian cuisine.. Staff was friendly and ambience was quite nice..

Great restaurant! They have one of the longest menus I've ever seen (10+ pages) with tons of authentic Indian and Indo-Chinese options. Everything we ordered was delicious. There's lots of indoor seating with one long central table and many booths along the walls; I imagine during busy times it may be quite loud and difficult to converse. They also have a takeaway counter and small market at the front.

Okay, so I came in here expecting a standard North Indian restaurant - a few paneer curries, naan/roti section, and perhaps a few chaat items (atleast I'd hope so given the name). What first blew my mind, however, was the wide variety of options offered. There was an entire South Indian specialties section, chaat items, biriyani, North Indian curries, and (for readers who eat meat) curries separated by type of meat. Like, WOW!!!
Anyways, I went ahead and ordered the Dahi Batata Puri and Gobi Manchurian meal.
Dahi Batata Puri (3.5/5) - to be honest, I was expecting slightly more from this

I just searched for "Samosa Chaat" instead of Chaat Corner bc I always get the samosa chaat and now have associated this restaurant with one of its best appetizers. Lol wow life is crazy. Anyways, really good solid food and service. Also a cozy little market where you can buy lots of mango pickle to impress people with at home.

Had their non-veg lunchbox which comes with chicken tikka masala, potatoes, rice, and naan. Overall the dish was flavorful but I felt disappointed about the amount of chicken tikka masala present. The ratio was maybe 10% chicken compared to 90% potatoes/rice/naan. I love to dip my naan in the tikka masala sauce but towards the end all I was left with was rice.

I absolutely love north and South Indian food, so I was so glad to have stumbled upon this restaurant while picking up a rental car in the neighborhood.
I had their sev puri, palak paneer lunch and finished with a chai tea. Oh and I also ordered butter chicken to-go for my family.
Sev puri: incredibly tasty, fresh, crispy, spicy, sweet. 5 stars for this menu item!!
Palak paneer: not my favorite version. It was overwhelmingly smoky tasting and had maybe 3 cubes of paneer. I mentioned the smoky flavor and that I couldn't eat it to the waitress, but they still charged me for it. It also came

A friend and I ordered the kachori plate, paneer pakoras, Gobi naan and faluda ice creams. The paneer pakoras were good. The kachori and Gobi naan had way, way too much masala in them and they were too spicy to the point that my friend only took 2 bites of the Gobi naan. The faluda ice creams were the saving grace. The staff didn't clear our table when brining dessert and didn't refill water. The menu seems pretty comprehensive, though, and the restaurant is on one side while a small grocery store is on the other side. I might return to try some other dishes since the prices are pretty good for

The best place in San Francisco downtown to have Indian cuisine. Atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming. Staff is friendly and greets well. Must eat Chats, Chole Bhatura, Pav Bhaji, Tandoor items and Butter chicken or Chicken Tikka Masala. Plus they have huge variety of Indian beers like kingfisher, Taj Mahal and Bira(one of the best Indian beer) along with international beers.
The best part is their open kitchen concept where customer can see whats cooking in the kitchen. Also the hygiene is maintained very well. They keep the kitchen very clean and hygienic.
Service is fast and accurate

We ordered from here late night while visiting SF via seamless. Not to brag but we live in an area on the east coast with a high concentration of immigrants from India so needless to say, this place was not quite up to the standards we're used to with Indian take out. I will admit that those standards are HIGH and the food from here was at least decent. As GF put it, "it was Indian food delivery at 1am, what do you expect?".
Their menu is exhaustive with many delicious options and included sections for vegetarian choices. We ordered the saag paneer, plain dosa, masala fries, gulag

This place came highly recommended by my sister and brother in law. They suggested the dosas, and we were not disappointed!
For starters, we had the mysore masala dosa, bhel puri, and dahi batata puri.
The dosa was filled with warm seasoned potatoes. It came with three dipping sauces. I believe a sambar and some chutneys. The dosa was crispy and the filling was seasoned perfectly.
The bhel puri and dahi batata puri were both delicious. Bhel puri comes with rice puffs that reminded me of Rice Krispies. The dahi batata puri had larger rice puff balls filled with toppings. The flavor profile on

Had a hankering for some delicious Indian food and after reading the menu online, decided to eat from here.
Great decision, as I opened the delivery bag and started opening containers.
Bhel Puri- such a wonderful dish, took me right back to Mumbai. Wonderful flavors, so delicious. Papri Chaat- still in Mumbai, and loving this chow.
Then the Lamb Korma and Butter Chicken. So many subtle and delightful flavors in both dishes, both perfectly executed.
This morning, as a gazed at the leftovers, I decided on an early lunch.
Enjoy!

First, I want to mention the pros:
-Fast service (they confirmed & prepared the food pretty quickly, and it helped that Caviar picked up and delivered pretty within estimated time)
-Decent menu options (especially because all I wanted was roti & daal makhani)
-They had the option for combos/meals
ie. Daal would normally have been $8 as a stand alone entree and for $4 more, it came with rice, naan, and the daily veggie which luckily for me was bhindi (okra) masala! And then I ordered extra roti for about $2.50
-The bread was pretty thick but soft so that was nice. It felt like I got more

Went here last week for the first time. I was in the area for work and needed something to eat at work, and I love Indian food. I ordered the Chicken Biryani with rice and two different types of Naan, a regular naan and a butter naan. The biryani was amazing and they give you nice pieces of chicken along with the rice that was amazing. The naan was amazing as well, if I am ever in the area again, I would go there.

Review for goat curry take out. It's VERY good. Surprisingly good. I've done several take out orders during covid, quality has slightly declined so I was pessimistic about ordering the goat curry I'm glad I took the risk.
Flavor was delicious and spicy. The meat:bone ratio was good, lot more meat than I expected. And very tender! I even had one tendon piece that was delicious and soft as if it's been cooked down for a while.
I would order the goat curry from here again!
