The first step is examining how you move and determining issues that cause pain or less optimal function. Most often these will be due to mechanical restrictions such as a muscle or fascia that is not allowing movement or joint that is too stiff or a nerve that doesn't glide properly.

After the mechanical restrictions are resolved through mobilization techniques and the area is able to move passively, you will learn how to actively make your system move in a new and correct way so that you can move easily and freely.Physical injuries involve mechanical dysfunction of one kind or another, however they often bring along emotional difficulties in the form of worries or stress, that also need to be addressed effectively.

I highly recommend Bridgewrights! Megan is amazing - thorough, kind, and holistic in her approach to healing. Sessions with her and the at-home exercises and tweaks to my daily routine that she recommended both healed my back and put me on a more mindful personal health path. The office also has such a wonderful energy!

I can not say enough how amazing my experience has been with Dr. Megan, Tolga and this whole practice. Megan is incredibly talented, empathetic, and well versed in any and all ways to get to the root of the pain. I came in with some horrible symptoms I had been experiencing for months, and it started getting better within weeks of sessions at Bridgewrights. If you are looking for physical therapy, this is the place for you. 10/10!

I had a great experience with Bridgewrights. My physical therapist, Tolga, was kind and knowledgeable. The office is uncommonly cool, very unlike any other medical rooms I've been in. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive one-on-one treatment, which I hadn't experienced with prior physical therapy. It was a pleasure to visit.

Bridgewrights is a welcoming and calming space. The team goes above and beyond to maintain cleanliness and to follow the all COVID precautions. My physical therapist, Dr. Megan, is a compassionate clinician who actively listens and acknowledges and addresses my thoughts, feelings and concerns. I always feel empowered by our sessions because Dr. Megan explains WHY we are doing things. My symptoms are improving and I'm returning to the activities that I love! I HIGHLY recommend Bridgewrights if you are seeking holistic minded and compassionate care.

I started seeing Tolga for chronic shoulder pain after a gym accident years ago. He is an amazing, talented human(he also does music therapy!), right off the bat I trusted him completely and has helped me through my pain back then. I met Megan then as well and she would help me with exercises for mobility.
Fast forward 4-5 years, as hip and back pain is starting to threaten my career, I knew I had to reach out to him again. I am so thankful he is in the city still! The treatment he provides is healing on ALL levels. He has helped me better understand my body and myself....really. He’s helped

Opening the door to the Bridgewrights space is welcoming, a lovely clean and awake space. Dr. Megan provided me a thorough introduction to her work and was holistic in her approach in discussing options for my therapy. I also see Dr. Tolga and find our work together a deepening experience that I continue to learn from well after I leave the office. Intelligent and relaxed.

Dr. Yenilmez helped me tremendously! I came in with back, neck, and shoulder pain. I had never been injured, so this was very depressing to me. Thanks to Dr. Yenilmez and his excellent skills, I was able to find relief not only physical, but mental/emotional as well! He is always there to listen to your concerns and address the source of pain. He also teaches you how to alleviate pain on your own. I am more than thankful that I found Dr. Yenilmez!
