Chardon Veterinary Hospital is primarily a small animal practice, with large animal routine care as the schedule permits. We offer morning, afternoon and evening appointments along with Saturday morning and early afternoon. House calls are available as our schedule permits. Dr. David B. Allmon, DVM came to the Chardon, Ohio area in July of 1983 and purchased the practice from veterinarian Dr. Alan Cragg.

We've lived in Chardon since 2016 and took our pet elsewhere. We loved that Vet and facility, but it was awfully expensive. Our pet was not only behind on vaccines, but had another issue. I'll start with the positives. The price for everything was VERY, VERY reasonable, and why I will continue to come back. Like the other positive reviews here, the staff and Vet ARE very knowledgeable, as well as friendly and courteous. The negatives. Holy cow--the place is SMALL and super old. While the Vet is very experienced and kind, he's old and I think has physical mobility issues due

We've been bringing our pets here for 14 years. Last week my son found a 3-4 week old kitten in the middle of a busy road at night. He rescued him and brought him home. We made an appointment and a few days later we brought him in for his first exam to be checked over. I got my checkbook out to pay at the end of the visit. Dr. Allmon and his staff told me they weren't going to charge us for the visit because my son did a good thing. We were amazed. Dr. Allmon and his staff are the kindest people and so good to all of our pets. He is an excellent veterinarian, extremely knowledgeable

My wife and I wouldn't take our pets anywhere else. Dr. Allmon is a wonderful vet with a wealth of experience and knowledge, and he truly loves animals. The friendly staff always makes us feel like part of the family, and not just a number. Our pets receive top-notch care here, in a friendly and caring atmosphere, and at a fair price.
